About this listing
The house is available for special event weekends and longer term rentals up to a month on occasion in Austin. It is a 2 bed, 2 bath house built in 1905 with tons of charm and since I'm an interior designer, it has a great modern twist on the aesthetic. It has a washer and dryer, full kitchen with new appliances, and a TV. Parking on the street and in the driveway is unlimited. It is a very quiet and sweet old Austin neighborhood that is next door to the University and Hyde Park neighborhood, and you can easily access all parts of Austin from here. Each room has a queen-sized bed that is extremely comfortable. There is also a large porch and a patio garden in the back, both areas great for enjoying the outdoors and hopefully good weather during your stay.
There is a coffee shop, grocery store, and liquor store all within a blocks walking distance and a further yet pleasant walk to Manor Rd. where there are several great restaurants and another great coffee shop. There is a bus stop a block away as well.

No smoking in the house!!!! We just ask that you are careful with all of our things because we have many old pieces and keepsake items in our home. No parties, no drugs, and please bring any spills or other things that might happen to our attention!!!!
We had a great stay at Sara's immaculate and beautifully curated artistic home! The quiet neighborhood has a sweet and homey feel. We walked down to the Cherrywood every morning for a breakfast of local food and great coffee. The house is super-close to UT and downtown so we spent little time in traffic even though the SXSW Festival was going on. Sara is a lovely person and was always available and accommodating. Staying at Sarah's made our time in Austin feel like we had a true experience of the place...so much better than a hotel!
This stylish home was a great location for our family. We corresponded with the owner primarily by texts, which worked well. We enjoyed cooking leisurely breakfasts in the kitchen and gathering in the dining room and living room together.
The reservation was canceled 22 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Sara was lovely and so is her home. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, easily accessible and in a great neighborhood. I look forward to staying there again in the future. Thank you Sara!
We had a great stay at Sara's house. Very convenient to getting downtown and very close to UT. Very clean, well decorated and plenty of space (plus parking!).
We spent a few days in Austin for the F1 Grand Prix, and used Sara and Travis' house as our base. Close to everything, including bus routes, the location was perfect.
The house was wonderful and Travis made us feel totally at home.
We will have no hesitation in using Sara and Travis' home again, when next in Austin.

About the Host, Sara
I'm a native Austinite, but moved back after being gone for over ten years, via New York and California. I love all the things to do in Austin and love people to come share in the coolness of our town.
