The great thing about my neighborhood is the local, un-commercial feel of a quiet cul-de-sac. The neighbors are mostly indigenous and friendly and will not importune travelers. There is no through traffic. The street is generally quiet. The property is mostly surrounded by trees hosting a surprising variety of wildlife, besides a wide array of birds and the usual squirrels, you might get lucky and spot the owls and possums that make their home in the surrounding trees.

I am the daughter of a locally born tour guide who knew Guatemala probably better than anyone of his time, so I have lots of information for those who want to come and taste a bit of adventurous paradise. My motto: live and learn, and enjoy both. I spend my time doing art and philosophy and love plants and animals, reading, birdwatching, hiking, and photography.

During your stay
I like for people to be comfortable and enjoy their stay. I will usually be around to greet and help with any questions you might have. I speak English very well, Spanish is my native language, and I am also reasonably fluent in French.
