An outstanding double room with a homely feel. So, wherever you live. You will feel as though you are home.
Hello my name is Dana. My husband, two sons and I live in Acton, West London. In our house there a total of 3 rooms available. The first room is a single room with a working area and a single bed, there is also a wardrobe to store cloths in. The second room is a room that has a large amount of space, there is a TV, Wardrobe and a desk where work can be completed. These two rooms share a bathroom. The third and final room is a newly refurbished room with a large amount of space, a wardrobe, TV, desk for work. This room is en-suite, the bathroom is newly refurbished.
Our house is close to a number of different attractions and shops. The is a Tesco 10 minutes away. There is a beautiful public park a short 5 minute walk away. Using the central line a 15 minute tube journey is required to reach the sight of Oxford Street. Last but not least a short 2 minute tube commute is required from West Acton to reach Ealing Broadway, here there are a variety of restraints and a large selection of shops to buy groceries in. Ealing Broadway is a multiple-national area as there are a large number of Cultures and nationalities.
West Acton tube station is a short 2 minute walk away from our house. There is a sushi restaurant and a post office near the tube station. North Ealing tube station is a 5 minute walk away, this is the Piccadilly line.
Two of the three rooms have a TV and all of the rooms have access to the Internet via Wi-Fi. All of the rooms have central heating which will keep you warm during the coldest of winter days.

The location was really good, because the house is very close to Tube Station. Acton West Station and North Ealing Station (Piccadilly line) was walking distance from the house.
The house was clean and very quiet. Shower booth was too small and guests with taller height than me may be inconvenient.
I enjoyed my staying and I will come back this house again if I visit London next time. The house was very nice and pleasant place. I thank Dana.
Disappointed with my stay as I did not feel the atmosphere was welcoming toward guests. There was no breakfast and guests are discouraged in using the kitchen or lounge areas. It is a 15 mins walk to the nearest cafe which isn't pleasant on a cold, wet morning! Room was clean but I was expected to stay in it, so not a place if you like to be social.
I am totally shocked by this statement even though I already mentioned the person concerned that my guests do not use the kitchen I am still allowed to use and can make coffee and tea.I'm sorry that you had a chance to meet me and my family but all the same good luck on your new job in the hope that it will take a long time to stay with same family.
We had a very positive experience at Dana's. The room was beautiful, spacious, clean and confortable. It was actually a better one than we saw in the listing. The neighborhood was excelent, her house was a few steps from the Central Line of the subway, just perfect. We did not have much contact with Dana and her family. Her husband and son helped us when we arrived and we saw Dana briefly only twice. They were all very kind. We had a very good experience.
I stayed at Dana's house for 5 nights while seeing the NFL game at Wembley. She really saved me by coming to pick me up as I had a late flight and had never been to the UK. Dana and her son picked me up at 10:30 on a Wednesday night to make sure I didn't get lost. I was busy sightseeing and didn't have a lot of interaction with the family but they were all very friendly and accommodating. It is a great location as it is a very short walk to the Tube. I enjoyed my stay and would go back there if I return to London.
Cylia's attitude was awful and her behavior was unacceptable. None of my guests use the kitchen but nonetheless I said she could use it. She said she wanted to make simple meals, this was not the case. She arrived at 8:00pm and cooked for a whole hour. My family had to listen to her food sizzle for a whole hour, this was out of order. I even invited her to come food shopping with me and tried to help as much as possible. As i said previously her attitude stinks and her personality is awful. She is telling me to be more sympathetic, if is the other way around. I would advise you to reject any booking from her. She is easily one of my worst guests. She didn't deserve to meet me and my family. I am glad she has left.
