The Space

We welcome you to our cozy Vesterbro apartment, located in the middle of all the fun - bars, cafes, and shops. It all starts right outside the doorstep!

The Apartment

The apartment is around 60m2, with one living room in direct connection to the kitchen and one large bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for cooking. The bathroom is new and with heated floors and a good shower. From the living room there is access to a small and very cozy balcony, with a table and 2 chairs, perfect for drinking coffee in the morning or enjoying afternoon sun with a glass of wine.
The bedroom has one double bed but an extra (inflatable) madras can be provided for up to 2 extra people. The apartment is located on the 1st floor, above a cozy café, which means that the “buzz” (of people talking, NOT loud music) from the café and the street can sometimes be heard in the apartment. However, it is mostly during the weekend, and personally we are never annoyed from the sound.

Furthermore the apartment is equipped with:
- Wi-Fi
- 2 televisions
- Stereo and turntable in the living room
- Access to a cozy garden

The Area

Vesterbro is one of the most popular places to live in Copenhagen and you will quickly understand why! With only 10 min walk to the central station and still just a walk away from green areas like "Frederiksberg garden" and the lakes.
Just outside the door there are great shopping areas, with all the shops you don't find in tourist guides, including a lot of vintage shops. When you are done shopping you can always find a nice little coffee shop or a restaurant (and we will happily share our tips and tricks to find the best places) and at night there are plenty of opportunities to experience the nightlife. With everything from cozy small original bodegas and bars with amazing selections of beers, to the famous meatpacking district (Kødbyen) with trendy nightclubs, Vesterbro is definitely a “happening” area!
At Vesterbro you get a change to experience the "real" Copenhagen, while still being close to all the tourist attractions. This is the perfect location for a visit in Copenhagen!

  • My wife and me had a very nice stay in Søren's apartment and Copenhagen. His place has a very personal atmosphere which makes you feel rather like staying at a friend's than (email hidden). It's location is ideal; very nearby many cafés and bars, yet still in walking distance to the city centre. Communication with Søren was very easy which added to the overall excellent experience in Copenhagen and in Søren's apartment.

  • Really comfortable, cozy and well equipped flat. The location is great with a lot of nice cafes, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. It also has a yard so we could safely store our rental bikes.
Søren (email hidden), asking what we were interested in and then giving us some great recommendations.

  • Soren and Linnea's lovely apartment is perfectly located. It's easy to walk to from the station and is equidistant from a couple of the local train stations so you never have far to walk. There is plenty of choice of restaurants and food shops if you want to stay local. We had some decent tapas at the restaurant just below the apartment which is so cosy and has a good choice of wine. Our hosts ensured that we were warmly welcomed by their friend as they were away at the time. The apartment is very comfortable (the bed is wonderful) and we particularly enjoyed eating breakfast at the sunny table. Would highly recommend a stay here :)

  • The location: fantastic. The apartment: beautiful. The logistics: effortless. A big thank you to Søren for welcoming us into his home, which is wonderfully decorated and well-located.

  • Søren (email hidden) - very quick to reply to messages, attentive and gave us a lovely welcome when we arrived (and great advice on where to find good coffee in the neighbourhood!). The apartment is perfect for 2 people - we felt very at home and didn't want to leave!

    Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

  • Søren and Linnea were lovely and so was the apartment - just like in the photos. Even though it in the heart of Vesterbro the flat is incredibly peaceful, so you really do get the best of both worlds. Søren and Linnea were also very chilled out and accommodating with check-in and check-out, which was great. I would absolutely recommend them as hosts (obviously). Cheers guys.

  • Lovely snug and cosy apartment in a perfect location close to Meatpacking district. Soren and Linnea were really nice hosts and gave us a lot of good recommendations where to go in the city. Nearby you find everything you need: supermarkets, bakeries, nice bars and restaurants. We'd definitely come here again - highly recommended! Thanks Soren and Linnea!

I'm a man who likes to travel and experience new things. For the past 10 years I have visited many parts of the world but there are still places I haven't been and would love to go, such as South America and Africa. I'm a huge music fan and have a nice collection of rock music on CDs and Vinyl which my guests are more than welcome to listen to. I also enjoy reading books by writers such as Hunter S. Thompson, and have collection (not large) of good books in English and Danish. I have travelled in many ways: Hotels, Hostels, home stay, at friends places, etc. I enjoy the experience of living in peoples homes when I travel and to see actual homes around the world. That is also why my girlfriend and I are renting out our apartment at Airbnb and strive to be good hosts - because we know how important it is to have a good holiday.
