Make us your home away from home while you enjoy the many delights the Cape has to offer. Crosswinds is a small, family owned B&B. When you call us, you talk directly with the people who fell in love with this location on Ft. Hill and work diligently to preserve its charming character and natural beauty. We love sharing it with travelers who appreciate the difference between staying in a motel and experiencing the unique and special attention one gets in a B&B.
Our rooms are decorated to make you feel like you’re visiting family or friends instead of motel-motif. Because our Studio and Cottage both offer private entrances, bathrooms, outdoor relaxation areas, and the convenience of a kitchenette stocked with breakfast choices, we combine the intimacy of a B&B and the privacy of a motel. We look forward to meeting you and gladly assist you with information and recommendations about the area, if desired.

Interaction with Guests
We orient guests to what is available in their suite to assure their comfort and enjoyment, provide general information about the area, answer specific questions and make suggestions. Then, we're available as needed, but do not intrude. Daily housekeeping is not provided, however, the trash is removed daily, and fresh towels provided by request.
Our neighborhood is rural, historic and scenic; the beginning of the National Seashore.
There is a Flex Bus available, but we recommend having your own transportation.
Other Things to Note
Many people find the convenient location on the corner of Route 6 and Governor Prence Road and the spacious, landscaped grounds enjoyable, however, if you are looking for a totally quiet experience in the months of July or August, the rooms are quiet, but there is road noise during the daytime outside. That said, you are only steps away from protected marshland and the beginning of the National Seashore.
Please observe the no pets/no smoking rules.
My mom and I stayed at Crosswind last week during our 2 night visit to Cape Cod. The driveway to the Studio is situated directly on Route 6. A very busy road on Cape Cod. Once we found the house to "check-in" Ron greeted us and led us to the studio. Andrea had baked some bread (which was very good) and they had also left us some Beach Plum Jam, a locally made jam that was delicious.
At first glance all seemed just fine. We unpacked the car and left almost immediately. Many hours later we returned to get ready to go out. Upon further inspection we noticed parts of the house were not very clean. The bathroom had quite a bit of hair the floor. The dust on the furniture was visible from across the room. The shower door was off it's track. We were rather disappointed but at that hour it was too late to call or contact the host. I had clorox wipes and we cleaned. Not what we wanted to do at 11pm.
I would be hesitant to recommend this Airbnb property.
We were obviously disappointed to read Cynthia's review. When Ron greeted her and her mother, they were very enthusiastic about how spacious, bright and sunny the room was and how fresh and clean it smelled. Later that afternoon, when I checked on them, they said everything was wonderful and they were very happy there. They echoed these remarks the following morning as they were leaving. We would have much preferred if they had found anything that was to their dissatisfaction, that they would bring it to our attention so we could remedy it for them. We find it odd that the dust and hair she encountered was more visible at night than it would have been in the bright sunshine, but we can't imagine why someone would invent that. Our rooms are thoroughly cleaned before each guest arrives, which would instantly reveal if there was anything wrong with the shower door. One side is a stationary door without handle and is not meant to slide, so we wonder if that could have been the issue. We're sorry Cynthia's stay here was less than she thought it should be. We will continue to strive to offer the positive experiences that 99% of our reviewers report and use the 1% to learn how to do it even better.
We had a wonderful stay in the studio. It was quiet, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. Ron and Andrea greeted us when we arrived and gave us helpful suggestions about beaches and local restaurants. It was perfect for our relaxing getaway!
This was a wonderful place to stay with kind, generous hosts! I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The location was perfect for me and I really appreciated Ron and Andrea's suggestions about places to go. Highly recommended!!
Andrea and Ron welcomed us to Cape Cod upon our arrival with big smiles, open arms and numerous suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and everything they could have done for us was already thought of. Wouldn't hesitate to stay with them again!
It was such a beautiful stay at Ron and Andrea's home. We enjoyed the hospitality and warmth! Personally I thought it was better to stay in eastham rather than Princetown since the parking was so much easier and commute was not bad at all. The drive was breath taking! Can't wait to come back next time
My brother and I actually booked a few nights here over MDW for my parents as their Christmas gift - from start to finish, Ron and Andrea were a pleasure to work with to pull off this great weekend! They were accommodating and incredibly easy to communicate/coordinate with, and my parents told my brother and I that they had a superb stay. The hosts were gracious, welcoming, helpful with planning activities, etc., and allowed for a fantastic stay overall. Highly recommend booking a stay with Ron and Andrea--I might just have to book a weekend for myself next time!
Ron and Andrea are exemplary airbnb hosts. As an airbnb host myself, I learned a thing or two from them...
The place is wonderful, perfectly clean, and very well located. They helped with everything, and gave us the best suggestions for what to do in the area. Couldn't recommend them any more!!

About the Host, Ron & Andrea
Ever had a place that just seemed like magic to you? Well, Cape Cod is that place for us, and we are here to stay! Opening Crosswinds B&B is our way of sharing the fun with interesting people from all over the world. We have had a varied background before settling in Eastham. Ron is a carpenter, equity actor and musician who enjoys world travel and taking relaxing rides on his motorcycle around the Cape. Andrea has worked as an elementary school secretary and has experience in the home health business and investment banking. She can frequently be found tending the gardens, capturing photos, perusing the many local antique and thrift shops and writing her monthly blog, 'Life at a Cape Cod B&B'. We are both avid Red Sox and Patriot fans. We look forward to meeting you!
