The Space

Some information concerning the atmosphere and environment around the house:

My studio is located in the heart of Paris, Latin Quarter; near the Pantheon, Notre Dame Cathedral, Luxembourg Gardens, Botanical Gardens (one of the oldest gardens of Europe)... The Metro Stations are very close to the house, only 2 minute walk.
Area: very nice and lively, convenient, quite, near to a lot of attractions, National Museum. There are many stores, supermarkets, food markets, international restaurants.
Ernest Hemingway had lived here, perhaps, he had diner in these restaurants, I think!...

There is a restaurant called "Jardin des Pâtes" just in front when you go out of the building on the right, it has a very good atmosphere and offers delicious food, made with organic products. Also on the same Street Rue Lacépède when you go up a little bit there is a very good bakery and a Picard Supermarket where you can buy ready-made meal which are very good quality and value for money. If you continue straight on the Street Rue Lacépède, there is a very nice place with lot of bars, restaurants, fast food etc...

There are 2 big gardens around the house, if you want to take some fresh air or do some sports as well as the Museum of Nature.

The studio is small, but new and very clean, tidy and has a good position, quiet as a countryside in Paris! It's located on the 4th floor, no lift. The sleeping separed area is not very high, but it is better and higher than sleeping on the mezzanine (see photo) There is a real bed for two persons.

The kitchen is fully equipped. You can cook if you don't want to go eat outside. The bathroom, toilets supply of sheets and bath towels.

Maximum 2 peoples. Price: 43€/day/person taxes included. Possible to rent by week or by month. Degressif cost for week/month. Thanks to ask me about the price.

The time of check in and check out would be flexible in the case if I don't have any guest before or after you. In that case, you can check in and out when you want.

I’ll be the person to check you in as I live right near of it, in the same street. So I'm here to help you for any problem or questions if you need.
You are welcome! Vous êtes bienvenus! Hang

  • Hang was a great host, and her apartment was perfect for our week-long Paris visit! The location is excellent...right in the Latin Quarter and super close to the Place Monge metro stop on M7. There is a very convenient ATM and mini-super market on Rue Monge steps away from the apartment, and we found our favorite Patissier on Place de la Contrescarpe right up the street. Also, we loved walking through the nearby Jardin des Plantes on the way home everyday. Basically...you will really like this area of the city. Yes there are many steps leading to the apartment, and it is on the small side...but you will be out roaming the streets most of the time and the price is right! On the plus side, we loved to open the tiny windows and look out across the buildings at night. Hang was super helpful when we arrived at an earlier time...and she has stocked her apartment nicely. Everything you need is there, and we were very happy about the washing/drying machine. Hang lives close by and is very responsive. We would love to stay there again!

  • Safe and convenient location
Many people clean and friendly neighborhood
    Deep tenderness and caring
Near the Botanical Gardens, near metro station, market
Refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, dining table, heater, everything equipped apartments

The downside is a lot higher floor stairs
Holding high up narrow stairs to the carrier in a very difficult
    The sink and toilet
    Uncomfortable mini size

  • This 4th floor walk up (an 80 step narrow spiral stair case) is a tiny (and I do mean tiny) gem in a great location--near the latin Quarter, handy to Botanical gardens, good metro stops and lots of shops and eateries. And about a half-hour walk from Notre Dame. Immaculately clean, quite bright smartly and efficiently kitted out with quality appliances and kitchen ware. (Sleeping space under the sloping roof could be an issue for the claustrophobic or the very tall). Ideal for one, ok for two. Highly recommended.

  • Great experience staying with Hang. Apartment just as described, with a bedroom in a cubby with a slanted roof. Location was perfect and in walking distance to all major sites. Hang visited to make sure we had everything we needed and even printed our bus tickets the night before and brought them to our apartment. She lives on the same block and will take very good care of you. Definitely recommended for a lovely place to stay in Paris!

  • Hang's little studio is just perfect! It's a small space, but it's exactly enough. Having a washing machine was great after traveling for a week, and the location couldn't be more ideal. It's two minutes from the 7 metro line and 5 minutes to the Mouffetard so we were able to pick up charcuterie/bread, etc, for dinner each night. Also adjacent to Le Jardin des Plantes, so evening walks were beautiful. Couldn't recommend it more! Would be quite impossible with more than 2 people and a young child (she has an extra fold out mattress in addition to the full-size bed), but if you're traveling light it's perfect!

About
I work for a NGO in Paris. Our association takes care of projects of environment and of developments in developing countries in Asia and in Africa! I am very happy with my job and I have been working in this environment for 20 years; 10 years in Hanoi, Vietnam, my native country and 10 years in France, my 2nd country! I'm French and Vietnamese. I like to take care of people, cooking and discover new cultures! Clint Eastwood is one of my favourite film-makers and actors. I like all sorts of music, jazz, classic, traditional rock, that depends on my moods. I love meeting people from different nationalities. My favourite hobbie is to travel all around the world and discover new places. I'd like to thank you all for contacting me, even if it's just for some information, my pleasure.
