The Space

I TEMPLARI B&B is a wonderful place… and if you come here you will realize it!
I live in the historical center of the town, a place rich of architectural and archeological evidence. During the Middle Ages, what is now I Templari B&B was a hospital. Many Crusaders and Templar Knights stayed here before they left for the Holy Land. You can see some of their drawings inscribed on the walls of this historical B&B. For this reason, I would be very honored to have you stay here so I can share with you my love for the history of this town.
I Templari stands (email hidden); it is 5 minutes from the main train station. It is only a 5 minute walk to the port, where there are restaurants, live music and an enchanting night life. It is also less than a 5 minute walk to a bus stop that can take you to Guna beach. This beach has a bar with music and long chairs, there are various activities you can partake in such as kite surfing and paddle boarding /supping.
From I Templari B&B it is easy to get facilities as the international airport of Salento, the port terminal at Costa Morena (ferries to Greece) and the railway station of Brindisi centrale (shuttle to port and airport).
The Bed and Breakfast I Templari provides a very comfortable full-furnished flat with:
Independent entrance, ensuit bathroom with shower, double/twin bedroom and a library room, more than a balcony and a little terrace.
The target of our services is a customer base which, besides the basic stay, is willing to feel like home and keep its own independence.

  • Had a lovely evening in the apartment in Brindisi. Mina was a very help and friendly hostess and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and to help us with aspects of our future travel. We would love to have stayed longer.

    Response from Mina:

Thanks Thea!! Hope your trip around Europe and Middle Est was amazing :-) See you!!!

  • Mina has a beautiful home with adjacent but seperate B&B quarters lovingly converted from an old Templari residence in the centrally located Brindisi historic district. Mina is an architect and the detail of this residence is simple and elegant. Mina is a gracious host and recommended a great restaurant close by on the waterfront. This was a charming experience for my wife and I. We would go back in a flash.

Thank you really Ralph & Cynthia!!

  • We booked to stay at Mina's for only one night but once we arrived we wished we'd booked for a much longer stay. The B&B is beautiful, the rooms massive, the location perfect (very close to the airport, restaurants and bars) and Mina was such a great host. She gave us great recommendations on where to eat. We will definitely be back. Thanks Mina!

  • A really gorgeous b&b in a lovely old secret town - Brindisi. Much overlooked by the traveller this little city holds much historic mystery once you delve a little deeper. Mina is very knowledgeable of the area and its stories, and because she is a talented architect has even created some her own history in some much-loved places in Brindisi. I couldn't recommend a stay here any more highly - thank you Mina!

  • Charming and well located building in center of Brindisi, very convinient and close to shops and the harbour area. Mina knows how to take care of her host and she'll make you feel at home.. No doubt I will come back!

  • Mina is a architect so of course she has very good taste. I supposed to met my friend but planed was changed. So Mina invited me to hangout with her friends, and more over I felt like I was not only the guest of but also being accepted like a friend.

Brindisi is a small town and the people are very kind.

Each part of the house is designed by Mina, the house is huge and with a massive roof terrance, newly renovated, with a history since year 1200, located less than 5mins slow walk to town centre. I had my own place on the other part of the house, own TV, bathroom and own smoking area. It is clam and quiet.

I was well taking cared by Mina in her beautiful house, welcomed with some nice cool rose wine, breakfast ready right after I woke up. You may also be lucky to have a lift between airport and the house if Mina is not busy.

Mina is chill and clam, besides that she is absolutely cool house host.

Thank you MIna and your friends.

  • I Templari has been the best B&B we have stayed at. Daniela and I were hesitant to stay with Mina, as she had no reviews at the time we were debating booking this place.

I could write a novel stating how great the templari b&b and Mina were--so I am going to try to keep it short. Her home decor makes you feel relaxed. Mina has restored the entire place giving it her own taste, while preserving the Templar history. Her B&B used to be a hospital during the Christian crusade so there are all these Templar inscriptions in the her home.
The rooms(there are 2) are simple and elegant with comfortable beds; the bathroom is spacious and clean, and the entire place had the clearest wifi we had in all of Italy!

Mina was AMAZING! She picked us up from the train station around 11 p.m. The next day she invited us to go to the beach and dinner with her and her friends. Our last night there she walked us around the town and pointed out other archeological and historical sites! Not to mention, the next day, she helped us make our last minute ferry  bookings and told us how to get to our port to go to Crete.

I must say, this is the first time I have felt comfortable and safe while traveling(we have been traveling for 2 months now). We left everything out because the place is extremely secure.  We felt as if we were staying with a friend or family member. Mina is a kind, honest person. You will not regret staying at this B&B!

  • Brindisi Templari B&B was a charming oasis for a quick overnight stay. The room was comfortable, well appointed, easy to find and walking distance to the harbor and just about anywhere in town. I had a short stay this time, but definitely would come back again. Mina was a sweetheart and shared some of the history of the B&B with me. All in all a very good experience.
