I stayed at Sandys apartment for a month solo. I felt pretty safe in the area and the apartment building. It was nice and clean when I arrived. Sandy would also keep in communication with me if I had any issues. I found the washer, microwave and tv easy to operate. I did not understand how to change the temperature in the shower. Luckily Sandys helper came over and changed it for me. She provides lots of kitchen items, hair straighter, dryer and more. The complex it quiet not that many small children sometimes you can hear people singing or playing the piano. One thing I could suggest for the apartment is maybe thicker curtains because i dont know if people can see in and a curtain should be placed on the other smaller window facing the bathroom. Also sometimes the part of the bed does disconnect because it's on a track it's some what of a easy fix. It does get relatively hot as well opening windows helps but if you are affected by allergies its not fun but can't be helped. Location wise it's very nice not too touristy. Subway station Anvers is super close making it easy to get to the famous Arc, the Eiffel Tower and Gare de Nord staton. Her tv service is nice lots of channels and even some English ones. The WiFi worked pretty good on my phone a little less on my computer. Over all I really enjoyed my stay at Sandys apartment for the space, location and value it's pretty good I would recommend!
The apartment is great! Cozy for a couple with everything you need to enjoy your stay in Paris. Walking distance to metro stop Anvers. The apartment is in Montmarte a beautiful area of Paris. We love the Panifica boulangerie in the corner perfect for your daily croissants or baguettes. Sandy is a great host and whenever my wife and I visit Paris again you can be sure we will stay here again.
I enjoyed my stay in the apartment, and I was happy to meet Sandy when I arrived. The sofa bed was comfortable, and it was nice to have an elevator and washing machine. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood, including on Rue des Martyrs, Rue Henry Monnier, and Avenue Trudaine. The Anvers Metro station is close by, and the Cadet Metro (which is a pretty easy walk) is convenient if you want to reach central locations like the Louvre or Pont Neuf without changing lines. I was happy with my decision to book this apartment.
Sandy's place is perfect. The location is wonderful, a quick walk to the train station, near a nice park, grocery store, plenty of restaurants and bars, and a really nice open air market on Fridays. The unit is very nice, updated and very clean. The unit has everything you need: dishes, coffee maker, tea kettle, pots & pans, toaster. Great place. I think I may have burned one of Sandy's cooking utensils but I left a new replacement cooking utensil. Sandy wasn't there to great but sent a friend instead who was nice. But Sandy was quick to respond. Thanks Sandy!
I can truly recommend Sandy's apartment. Everything was the same as at the pictures. House is very cosy, clean and good equipped. The location of the apartment is perfect (in the center of Montmartre, in front of Sacrè-Coeur and nice garden, very close to subway station). I have very good memories from that place.
I stayed in Sandy's flat for a month and a day. On the whole it was pretty much exactly as advertised. Small, but quite comfortable. The sofa-bed was very nice and sleeping on it was no problem - as it can be with some sofa beds. I am actually thinking of buying the same model myself. The condition of the flat was very clean. I never actually met Sandy, though her helpers who I did meet were very nice (a father and son who helped me with my many suitcases) and she was reachable by text and phone. My only real problem with the flat was that the heat was communal and sometimes when it was quite cold in the night or early morning it was not turned on, though when eventually it got even colder it was always on. Other than that my stay was very nice. There are many good cafes and restaurants within an easy walk and the neighborhood is very hip ("bobo" as the French say).
I stayed three months in Paris this summer. Before and during my stay, communication with Sandy was always easy. Unfortunately, I was informed a few days before my arrival that the appartment I booked wasn't available, since there was a guest who wasn't able to move out due to his physical situation. Still, I was lucky Sandy could offer me another appartment. But since I would always have preferred the appartment I booked in the first place (the appartment I had to take then had - in my opinion - several disadvantages), and the whole discussion only came up a couple of days before I arrived in Paris, this whole matter was somewhat annoying. Of course, this complication wasn't Sandys fault, and - after longer discussions - Sandy offered a discount on the rent. Not having seen this appartment, I cannot judge on its quality, which is why I rated it average. What I can judge on is that there appeared several issues with the appartment given to me on the day of the arrival and during my stay. As mentioned above, Sandy was always kind and responded quickly. However, most issues had to be fixed by the owner of the appartment himself (who wasn´t Sandy), who seemed to be really busy. Thus, more than once it took several requests until something was fixed, and sometimes nothing happened for several weeks. In addition, some matters (e.g. bathroom window) weren't fixed until I left the appartment three months later. Since the arrival already was somewhat troubling, I would have wished a less complicated correspondence.
