We had a fantastic stay at the North Lighthouse Keeper's Cottage. It is a perfect remote family getaway. We spent our days on the beach (just a short walk), late afternoon enjoying the views from the patio, and then ventured out to bask under the beams of the lighthouse and the Milky Way late at night. We will definitely return!

A truly spectacular and unique property in easily the most beautiful part of the NSW coast. We took some family visiting from the UK and we couldn't have chosen better. The property is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, the lighthouse at night is out of this world, and the views! there are no words. Thank you for such a smooth, hassle free stay at this amazing cottage. Bianca + Family

We loved our time at the light house, it was a highlight of our trip to Australia. Exploring the coves and bay's surrounding the home was incredible, as was the wildlife. I can't recommend a visit here highly enough, just incredible.

This really is a magical spot! Staying in the lighthouse keeper's cottage was something special. You feel very close to nature here and over just one weekend we spotted a humpback whale, a dingo and a couple of pods of dolphins. The cottage itself is perfectly cosy for a cottage built in 1875, we were warm enough and the kitchen had everything we need to cook up a nice roast. Great experience! We'll be back

This was the highlight of our trip to Australia. The lighthouse is AMAZING! We really enjoyed the gorgeous accommodation and took advantage of the beaches that were just a short walk away. There were whales and dolphins visible from the shore and the water was amazing for a swim. One of the best places we've ever stayed.

We three owner managers opened our doors in July 2008 and were thrilled to receive the National Tourism Industry's Best New Tourism Development in Australia. We delight in meeting new guests ... who are attracted to staying in a lighthouse keeper's cottage, nestled in a National Park, beneath a working lighthouse! Peace and natural beauty abound!
As custodians, we respect, protect and conserve the historic site of Sugarloaf Point.
We value your enjoyment of local flora and fauna and encourage minimal impact on the natural environment.
Our office is open daily and an onsite caretaker ensures the protection of the site.
