We stayed at the North Cottage for 4 days/3 nights and absolutely loved it! Judy showed us around and gave us useful tips. The cottage itself was very spacious, clean, had a big front and back yard/garden and an amazing view overlooking the beach (perfect for watching the sunset on the patio).
The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and it's only a short drive to Pacific Palms/Smiths Lake to get fresh food/veggies/etc.
I had my family over from Europe and we definitely enjoyed staying at this amazing location. Can't wait to be back!
This breathtaking experience was unforgettable!!
Nothing less than a perfect, picturesque location for the greatest getaway ever.
I've already told numerous (now jealous) friends of the getaway.
I'll be back for sure. :)
Our two-night-stay at the lighthouse cottage was a wonderful, relaxing, memorable vacation! We loved the spaciousness and layout of the historic buildings, and the sweet personal touches added by the hosts, such as fresh lavender twigs on the towels provided. We felt like the keepers of the magical lighthouse, watching sunsets and the tides shifting on the beach below, cooking home-made meals in the kitchen, eating on the front porch with a great view and/or the wonderfully cool dining room. Thank you very much for stewarding an amazing place. We wish we could have stayed much longer!
It was our pleasure to have you and your friends stay. We enjoy sharing this piece of unspoiled natural beauty and historical significance ... and the amazing night time experience of the working lighthouse. We appreciate your comments ... thank you!!
We three owner managers opened our doors in July 2008 and were thrilled to receive the National Tourism Industry's Best New Tourism Development in Australia. We delight in meeting new guests ... who are attracted to staying in a lighthouse keeper's cottage, nestled in a National Park, beneath a working lighthouse! Peace and natural beauty abound!
