First time with Airbnb. We were 12 friends celebrating our 50th birthday. The house was exactly as advertised with 6 comfortable rooms and 3 bathrooms. Actually 4 people more can sleep on the comfortable sofas. Outstanding location, right at the corner looking at a canal and a bridge, minutes walking to all attractions and bars and restaurants. Only thing you should know is the very very steep stairs, which were like ladders leaning on a wall. I understand that steep stairs are typical for the historic homes in Amsterdam. Our house had a tiny balcony, then we realized that it was a big privilege. It was great to sit, sip drinks and watch the action on the streets and the canal during sunset hours. There are 2 large well equipped kitchen/living areas. We used only one. There is a small cafe in front of the house which was great to have a morning coffee and breakfast. We can't think of a better place to stay in Amsterdam as a big group. It was a big plus to enjoy beautiful Amsterdam.
Check-in and check-out was very smooth.
We needed a voucher with our names on it for visa purposes, but we never received a response.
We have just visited Amsterdam for the first time with a group of nine. It was a lovely trip and we were very happy with Christian's home. The neighborhood was beautiful and the residence is situated on a scenic canal. I was concerned we might be crowded, but the rooms were large and could easily accommodate a group of 12. Christian greeted us when we arrived and also had a management firm to offer any assistance we might need. I would love to go back again, and would gladly stay here!
Short and sweet. There was a little delay in getting in touch with someone to check in. Partly our fault because we had staggered landing times and coordinated our arrival a few days before the trip. The apartment is beautiful and perfect for large groups. Location is ideal and walking distance from everything worth seeing in the city. They even allowed us to leave our bags as we roamed the city during our last day (after checkout). Overall a great experience, great apartment and very helpful staff.
We enjoyed our rental in Amsterdam. The location is great! A favorite activity was to sit on the little balcony and watch the boats, people and bikes go by. The beds are comfortable. It was a great experience to stay in a “real’ canal home. We rented all three apartments for our group of ten and had more than enough room.
The stairs are steep, but they have good strong handrails, which helps. Just a note - there is a full steep staircase to get to the first apartment and for each level going up. I was told that there is a very small short staircase to the first apartment. I have bad Knees, but could handle it with the good handrails. Just staying in this home was a fun experience! The one thing that was inconvenient was that we had to walk 10 minutes to a location where we were to leave our garbage.
When we arrived, we were met by Felix and he asked for a 250 Euro deposit that I was not aware of. We received it back on the last night but had a hard time reaching him. Even with these inconveniences, I am glad we stayed here and would recommend it.

Appartement très propre, très clair, bien agencé et très bien placé. Le quartier est très agréable et à proximité de tout.
Seul inconvénient, le bar situé juste en dessous des fenêtres de l’appartement avec des nuisances sonores toute la nuit.
We spent three days over King's day weekend in the property and the location was absolutely perfect. The accommodation was more than enough for all of us, and the balcony was small but very useful.
We did not see the owner of the property while we were there, but arrangements were made with a manager of the property.
Be sure when you stay there that you get how the outside lock works as more than a few of us were stuck outside over the time we stayed there.
