Welcome to "The Getaway" an ocean front condo with a view of the waves and the sound. 2br/1ba, large deck, full kitchen, 3rd floor. The Getaway is ideal for 6 or less but a couch surfer could make 7. Plenty of room to relax.

The nature of ocean front is ever changing for the most up to date conditions we are just a message away. The is always the possibility of beach nourishment or projects when the turtles aren't nesting.

The space
To keep the costs as low as we can for our guests Linens and paper products are not supplied. There are 2 options in case you forget. There are services that will provide for you (at last check it is $50-70 per stay) or you can use our things that we often keep in the condo but you will need to wash them and return them before you leave.

The spray from the ocean affects the sliding glass door. It’s often that it looks dirty on the outside. Very sorry about this but it’s the nature of the beast unfortunately. There are great benefits and some drawbacks to being directly ocean front - There is always a possibility that the landscape or beach, or access can change and we do the best to keep this area updated but sometimes it changes too fast. Smoking is not permitted in the condo, on the balcony or breezeways.

Plenty of parking is available but you will need to put a parking pass in your window. Please return it when you leave or I will unfortunately have to bill you 10 bucks for it. That is what the HOA charges me for them.

Other things to note
It is important to stay off of the dunes and sandbags. Those things are essential to the ecology of the island.

Keep exterior lights off and curtains drawn to minimize light pollution during turtle laying season.
