The Space

Experience the special ambience of "Kartoffelrækkerne"

An opportunity to live in a beautiful town house with private garden right in the heart of Copenhagen. Our house (1560 ft2) is newly renovated, preserving the charm of a 150 years old house. It has 3 rooms in three floors; 1 living room, a large kitchen/family room, an attic and a bathroom. There´s is Internet in the house.

The neighbourhood is packed with cafees, really good take away and restaurants, and in 10 minuttes you can stroll along the lake and reach the trendy neighbourhood of Noerrebro. Walk in the opposite direction and you will soon reach The National Gallery, Rosenborg Palace Garden, and the historical centre.

After a busy day touristing Copenhagen you can hang out in our small cosy garden, and if you travel with kids let them play in the street. They will soon meet lots of other kids. Feel free to use our bikes. Bed linnen and towels are included in the price. Have a nice stay!

  • We had a great stay at Rasmus’ house, it was nice and clean and located in a very charming area of Copenhagen. It’s perfect for a family with children. We enjoyed having the possibility of buying fresh bread in the morning from the nearby bakery and stroll along “Søerne”. We would very much like to stay at Rasmus’ house again.

  • We spent a super week in Kartoffelrækkerne. The house was perfect for a family of two adults and three children. Beautifully furnished with tasteful art and design elements The neighborhood was quiet and at the same time central. The entire family felt at home immediately after arrival. Copenhagen is also a beautiful city with several activities for all ages. We truly recommend this house those who plan a trip to Copenhagen

  • We had a great week staying at Rasmus and Pernile's house in Kartoffelrækkerne. We were three adults and two kids and had plenty of room. The floor plan of the house lends itself nicely to both privacy and group time. Centrally located in a wonderful neighborhood, we were able to walk to everything, or ride one of the house bikes. Nearby grocery and bakery provided all the staples, not to mention 3 blocks to Aamanns fantastic smørrebrød! We would definitely stay here again given the opportunity!

Hi, my name is Rasmus and welcome to my profile. We live in one of Copenhagen´s most historical city parts called "Kartoffelrækkerne" which directly translated to English means the potato rows. The reason why it is called that is that the location of the city houses side by side in 11 streets reminds one of potato plants on a field. The city houses were originally built to get the working class hygienic homes that they could also afford to live in. They were built from (phone number hidden).
