A cosy and relaxing "blue" room in Mile End/Stepney Green area. Very good transport links to central London. It takes just 5 min. to get to Mile End Station (Serves: Central Line, District Line, Hammersmith and City Line and Circle Line). From Mile End to, for example Oxford Street, it only takes around 20 min.
From Oxford Street everything is almost 15min walk.
There are two buses that operate 24 hours – 25 and 205. The closest bus stop is just 2-3 min. walk (Mile End Road).
Your room has a double bed, a desk and a chair.
There is a small, but separate toilet as well as a bathroom.
Kitchen, bathroom and toilet are shared with 3 other rooms. All flatmates are exceptionally quiet, friendly and open-minded.
There is no sitting/dinning room in the flat.
I will be more than happy to help you locating all the places you wish to visit.
In general, if you want to explore London and have a peaceful place to stay – you should come to stay at my place!

The room is basic but had everything I needed. Unfortunately, I did not meet Tomas but the check in went smoothly. I could advise this room if you're looking for a relatively cheap basic room in London, it is a good price for the room compared to other rooms in London!
The room is as expected. The house is quite and well located, near to the two tube stations. There is the sainsbury store 5 mins walking where you can find most of the things you need, or you can ask Tom for further information in the area. The place is clean and organised. Bathroom, toilet and kitchen are shared. Since it is a common thing when you are looking for a budget place to stay so I found no problem at all. Tom is a very kind and friendly person, he gave me a lot of advice for local area and my trip. If you have any problem, just ask Tom, I am sure he will try his best to answer your questions. When I had a problem with the wifi in the house, he went back to the house straight away to fix it. Overall, I have had a really good experience with Airbnb this time, it was a great holiday for me during Christmas and New Year time. I'd strongly recommend the place. Thanks Tom!
Thomas was nice. Truly. But I would never stay here again.
The bathrooms were truly filthy. I found a disgustingly huge pubic hair that attached itself to my things whilst showering... I left it on the wall to see if it would be cleaned, two days later and it was still there.
What we were not told, is that this small apparetment in the east of London could also be shared with six other guests.
Using the kitchen was frowned upon an we genuinely didn't feel welcomed or at home in this appartment.
If you're on a budget I suggest you pay the extra few pounds and stay closer to the city, because although we were close to the station, what we paid in train fair wasn't worth it.
If you're keen, I would also suggest you read the giant list of rules before hand.
First of all, cleanliness in the flat is one of the main priorities. Second, there were not 6 other people in the flat. There were 3 other people staying in other rooms during your stay. There was one guy in one room and one couple in the other room. Why would you even say that there were 6 people? I think that your comments are utterly dishonest and they do not reflect the reality. Accommodation in central London is at least twice the rate I charge, really not a few pounds extra like you say. You and your friend created a big mess in the bathroom. You have spread your hair dye on the shower curtain. You have also left hair not only in the bathroom but also in your beddings and your room in general. Why are you saying that you were not told that the flat is in east London? My description clearly says “Stepney, E1, ZONE 2”, it also specifies that there are 3 other rooms with people! I have really no idea why would you try to deceive other airbnb users. Did you not like the United Kingdom or east London? I really sense some sort of bias in your review. Also, if it was so bad why did you not tell me during the stay? I have contacted you and your friend on the number provided and you said that everything was OK. Now you are saying you didn’t like your stay? Was it really the stay or was it something else that is making you so upset for you to make such dishonest comments?
We had a great experience in London.
The room was exactly as described and as shown in the photos. The room was comfortable, big, clean and very blue.
The flat is well located (bus to Oxford Circus only 2 min. walk and subway to the city center aprox. 5 min).
Tomas is a nice host that will answer to the questions you have, he even has some information and dictionaries to use in the room. Sad that we couldn't spend more time that he could show us more of the area near to the flat.
Great London, good first experience with Airbnb.
We had a great weekend! The room was beautiful and Tomas was so friendly. If we return to London we will repeat this experience for sure :) Thank you
I do recommend this place well located, near the underground and bus. The flat is clean and quiet. Tomas welcomed us very kindly when we arrived very late in the night. I'll come back without any hesitation.
Tomas was very helpful, everything was clean and we had a good time.
I don't have any complaints, everything was fine.
Convenient and quiet neighborhood. The room is clean and cozy. Thomas is very friendly host giving us lots of information about the tour in London! We had very pleasant time staying in London!
I really enjoyed stay here in your place. Thank very much for your kindness, everything was excellent. Have a good time and hope to see you again in London
Airbnb gave the wrong address. The number is not 52. Could you please correct for future guests? T&his caused some misunderstanding at the beginning.
Dear Dominique, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have most certainly contacted airbnb about this issue that it wouldn't recognise the actual address and show it as 52. There won't be any misunderstandings anymore, please make sure that you rather use (website hidden) maps, because only (website hidden) maps recognise the address in full. Also, I regret that your private feedback is about me and the flat but your public feedback is about this minor misunderstanding. If you have made a mistake, you can review your feedback, just navigate through airbnb's website, if this was intended, then just leave it. I always appreciate reviews because they allow me to avoid any issues that future guests may have. Thank you and hope you have enjoyed your stay. Always welcome.
