Apartment to be rented in Florence city centre (all the flat is at full disposal of the guests); it is located on the first floor in a quiet and safe area (the police department is sited only 50 meters from it, at the end of the street and well enlightened during the night). The flat is furnished with antique furniture and nice paintings; you will also find books and classical music CD.
It is an ideal home for a couple but can accommodate up to three people; we can offer you either a king-size-double bed or, if needed, single beds.
The apartment has one bedroom, a bathroom with shower, an equipped kitchen with microwave and freezer, a small studio with a desk and a single bed (really comfortable mattress not sofa-bed); a terrace and a small garden are also available.
The apartment is located in the very historical city centre area, only 200 meters distance from Santa Maria Novella railway station, close to the city conference centre palace and is near the famous S. Lorenzo market with its indoor food market where you can buy fruit, vegetables, Florentine steak and all the best food products from Tuscany.
Around the market you will find many leather shops and restaurants offering typical Florentine dishes.
All major museums, squares, famous palaces and main attractions of Florence are within walking distance from the flat.
The apartment is equipped with an electric air conditioning system in summer and winter.
An internet Wi-Fi connection is available.
From the main railway station, which is just 200 metres from the flat, you can easily reach Siena, by train, and San Gemignano and Volterra by bus; there are also fast connections by train to Arezzo, Pisa and Lucca.
INSTRUCTIONS TO REACH THE APARTMENT FROM THE MAIN RAILWAY STATION: on the left side, walk towards "largo fratelli Alinari" and then "via Nazionale"; when you reach "via Guelfa" turn left and the flat is there.
COMING BY CAR: "Fortezza da Basso" , "viale Spartaco Lavagnini", turn right into "via Santa Caterina d'Alessandria" when you reach "via Guelfa" turn right.
A private parking is situated a few meters from the flat in "piazza del Crocefisso".
The flat was quiet and well located close to the station. Having heating was very useful as was the modest kitchen. Easy to walk everywhere from the flat. Andrea was there to give me the key when I arrived.
We have passed a really amazing weekend in Florence. The city is gorgeus and Andrea has been a perfect host!! The appartment is vey nice and comfortable, with a charming decoration, just as it is shown in the photos, with all the commodities and very near to the city centre and the main monuments and the train station. Andrea was very nice with us, and he recommend us very nice restaurants. We have had a really good time there and we strongly recommend Andrea's appartment if you go to Florence.

Looking for a flat in Firenze? Don't look any further: this is it!
This cozy apartment is perfect situated near the city center and the main railway station of Firenze. Buses and trains to the airports, to Sienna, Lucca, Pisa, Livorno...leave a 10 minute walk from the flat.
The apartment itself is bright, tidy, well equipped, full of great antique furnish and if that isn't enough: there's a terrace and even a small garden to relax after a busy day in town!
Not convinced yet? The only thing you will hear at night is the snoring of your partner. Good sleep guaranteed!
The bathroom is small but clean and the shower works perfect. The Central Market is close, as well as some grocery shops and supermarkets. There's a fine and cheap family run restaurant next door.
Andrea and his father were very helpfull hosts. They responded on every mail or question as soon as possible.
I would highly recommend this place to everyone and would not doubt a moment to rent this little home again if going back to beautiful Firenze in the future.
Great location, well equipped flat and very friendly and helpful host. I highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Florence.
Andrea is fully reliable about the appointment, and also very flexible about a late check-out whenever it is possible.
The apartment is conveniently located close to the train station and Palazzo delle Fiere.
Plenty of towels, blankets are made available. Some furnishture is a bit old, some. Some tourist apartments are used by the owner to keep some useless stuff. This seems to be the case here at some places.
Now this apartment is what airbnb is really about, great location, clean, well equipped and lots and lots of character. It is like staying with family (in a good way) everything you need comfy beds, clean towels and linen in abundance and a place you can feel at home. We stayed here for 4 nights as our base and it was excellent. Close to train and bus station, shops and close to the centre of florence. The location and apartment block is safe and quiet. We cooked every day in the well equipped kitchen. Relaxed and watched tv and wrote in the study.
Andrea is a great host, very flexible with check in and worked around my train times. I would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone.
Very covenience if you need tome near to the train station and/or take the tours around the Toscana great restaurants and tratorias around the street. The apartment is ver y clean. The kitchen is propertly equipped. The Heat works perfectly. Andrea Was very good to provide the instructions and give us the keys early!. The duomo and other atractions are just 10 minutes walk
Great location very near the SMN train station. A cozy little place up a short flight of steps. Had everything I needed for a short 3 day stay. With the big marketplace very near by it was really nice to have a place with a kitchen. The only minor issue I had was that the wi-fi became unusabley slow at night. Not a big deal. A little tip for English speakers: channel 868 on the television carries some US programming and if you use the audio button on the remote to change the language to eng, most of the programming has an English audio track. I will certainly stay again when in Firenze.
a nice place, you won't regret it. a cozy apartment close to the train station, quiet and secluded. andrea was nice enough to let us in early, and we got to meet his mother. there are some good trattorias within a block. the apartment was clean, with lots of books, and it felt like a place where people live, you know, with their things and pets, etc, - not a sterile hotel room (isn't it what airbnb is all about?). we ate out, but there's a functional kitchen in the apartment, and having a glass of wine on a little patio was a treat.
Wonderful experience. Great location and nice apartment. Andrea was very easy to interact with and everything was just as promised. Thank you!
