Interaction with Guests
a normal amount... I dont avoid contact nor do I expect or seek it....I do respect people's space and privacy... my home should be a place where people can come and relax and enjoy their stay in London.
I love the proximity to Town - with easy access by bus or underground.
I love being able to walk to Hampstead Heath and into Hampstead Village.
We have a superb Sushi restaurant close by as well Indian and Fish and Chips.

Robert was the perfect host. He is very welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. The flat is situated in a nice neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets. The flat itself is very big and the room has plenty of storage. I would definitely recommend this place.
The reservation was canceled 6 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I stayed at Rob's apartment for 2 lovely weeks.
The apartment is very big, and so is the room. When this room is the only one occupied, you also get a bathroom all to yourself.
The apartment is close by to several buses (phone number hidden), N13) and within 15 minutes walk from tube/overground/national rail stations. Getting to central London takes around 30-45 minutes.
The apartment itself has a lot of natural light, so if you're a light sleeper, make sure to have an eye cover. Very quiet neighborhood, which also feels very safe, even when walking home from the bus stop late at night.
Rob is very nice. I didn't get to see him a lot, but we had interesting chats when we did.
Do notice there's no microwave, only an oven and a stove.
All in all, I highly recommend staying with Rob. In expensive London, you get your money's worth.
I really enjoyed my time at Robert's flat! All rooms are very spacious and clean! Robert is a absolutely friendly host. I stayed in the room for one week and can recommend to everyone, who wants to have a great time in London! Many thanks again, Robert!
Booked my place on the day of arriving, Rob was a great. He quickly replied and accepted.
The place is clean and homely. The room is huge, you can live in that space alone! And the comfy new bed! The kitchen is fully stocked, there was a nice lounge area too! Rob has his own bathroom, which left one (the larger one) for his guests. Wifi, plenty of storage/wardrobe space / large desk, its ideal.
Transport was easy enough, it was a pleasant walk to West Hampstead station, with plenty of restaurant choices and Tesco (2 of em) along the way. It's a quiet area with a community feel (Police station and fire stations are on the main rd), makes for a safe feel.
Rob himself was quite the host, he was always up for a chat and helped where he could. It was a pleasure to stay there, can't recommend it enough. Thanks Rob!
I was offered a job trial here in London if I managed to start working asap, so I packed my bag in a hurry and found this place. I'd been looking at plenty of other places, less pricey than this, but I didn't get any good feeling of the other ones. This is in a nice neighborhood and I arrived on a late Wednesday evening. Robert was excellent at guiding me to the right place and was quick to respond on my text messages.
He'd just put in new matresses and the room was large and comfortable. Even had my own bathroom with a tub!
Unfortunately I became ill again when I arrived, something that had lasted a month. Robert was more than helpful and contacted his own GP, guided me to the nearest walk-in clinic and was really comforting. Always helpful and interested in the things I had to say. If I hadn't found a more permanent place to stay atm I would actually consider staying for a while longer as he was great company and the room was just up my alley.
It's clean and tidy and the house was quite respectful. As the nearest tube is West Hampstead I did the Jubilee line down to where I worked and am pleased the connections with the overground and the train were as good as they were.
All in all a good experience, and I actually do think we'll keep in touch as he's great to talk to and have plenty of wise things to say!
Everything was perfect, even beyond expectations!
Bright large bedroom (of cource, new matress should be mentioned), my own bathroom, large kitchen and cozy living room!
And absolutely gorgeous host - hospitable, helpful, with good sense of humor.
There was one thing I worried about - that it would be too far from the centre of the city. I was wrong - its second zone, bus stop in few minutes and tube/overground/Thameslink trains (going to South - Gatwick airport, Brighton, Eastbourne) station in 10 minutes walk.
Just positive impressions, thanks to Robert and his apartment.
