A great and memorable stay. The apartment is perfectly furnished. Clean, compact and cosy. Would definitely stay there again. The neighbourhood is especially wonderful. Le Marais is such a great area to stay in. Shops, cafes, restaurants galore and a vibrant, artsy and welcoming feel.
With the risk of this place not being available when I next book: I'd definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Paris.
We had a great stay at Guillaume's apartment. It was very clean and well equipped. The view from the large balcony windows was lovely. There were many restaurants nearby and we walked everywhere in the city. The bed was comfortable and it was helpful to have a washing machine for laundry. Guillaume was also very helpful and quick to respond when we were planning our trip. We would stay again!
This apartment was in an excellent location, many hip trendy stores and cafes/restaurants right out the front door. Close to many metro stations and within walking distance of many sights. Apartment was clean and light filled and very compact. We did find the platform bed a little tricky (especially my pregnant wife). Apartment did get quite hot and stuffy however we slept with the windows open and didn't find the noise a problem. Well provisioned with tea, coffee, iron, hair dryer etc. Guillaume was a very friendly and helpful host.
We enjoyed 5 great days at Guillaume's flat in May 2014. He is a great communicator, and was available to answer questions before and during our stay. We liked the neighborhood, since it has great night life, but the building is located on a quieter block. We especially enjoyed the cosy loft, with the bed and TV.
Guillaume's flat is as described central and clean and lovely. It definitely has a beautiful Parisian feel! He was there to greet me on my arrival and showed me around the flat and then also took me to the local cafe to enquire as to whether they could help recharge my phone. He was very kind and welcoming.
The flat was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The location of the flat suited us very well. It is a lovely neighbourhood which was close to the heart of Paris but still felt peaceful. It had everything that we wanted (we especially loved the coffee machine!) and I would highly recommend this flat to anyone wanting a real Parisian experience.
Guillaume was a very helpful host and was flexible with our check-in which helped us a lot!
However, do take note of the ladder - if you are not confident at getting up and down then this might not suit you!
My husband and I spent 5 great days at Guillaume's studio. Everything was as listed. Very clean, comfortable, the flat is very well furnished, clean sheets and towels were provided. It can be a little bit noisy on weekends but once the windows are closed you can't hear anything.
Lots of great restaurants, bakeries and mini supermarkets are in the area. The Oberkampf station was closed for construction work so we got off at Filles du Calvaire which is literally 3min from the studio. Metro St. Paul is also close by and is in a very nice are of the Marais. The Marais is my favorate place, every time I go to Paris I stay in the neighbourhood and would stay at Guillaume's place again for sure.
Guillaume was charming, helpful and on time. The apartment had everything, including top notch coffee machine (great for coffee lovers!),. The best neighborhood, full of shops, cool vibe, history, and yet quiet so we got a good night rest to our tired feet... you never stop walking Paris and meeting new and wonderful things. If you are very tall, it might be a bit awkward to move around the mezzanine where the bed is, but very good mattress! Definitely recommend it!
thank u Guillaume. It was really a nice experience to stay at Guillaume's apartment. The location is top-range in the Marais and the apartment itself is of high standing and fully equipped. Recommended+++
The flat was in a great location and perfect for the two of us. It was a great neighborhood and very walkable, but also close to the metro and other areas. Guillaume was very responsive to our questions and met us at the flat the first day to show us around. We'd highly recommend his place to anyone wanting to visit Paris!
