This apartment is literally nestled in the ruins of Octavia's Portico, the Theatre of Marcelo and the temple of Apollo Sosianos. You have to cross a little bridge over ancient marble rubble to get to the front door of the building - a thrill every time! So, location is excellent, the apartment is great - a good size, quiet and well equipped (except for a washing machine which we missed on a longer stay) - and Marco was efficient, attentive and immediately responsive. Recommend it highly.
Ottima accoglienza, professionale e puntuale. L'appartamento era pulito, ordinato e in un'ottima ubicazione. Dalle foto mi sarei aspettata una terrazza più grande ma è comunque sufficiente per 2 persone sedute.
This was a fantastic location for my family. We have 3 small children and the size of the apt. was just fine. The ancient ruins right outside were amazing and the restaurants in the Jewish Ghetto were great.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone!
The location of the appartment is super - just a few minutes from Plaza Venezia and Trastervere. I can clearly recommend to stay there, because of its central location. The appartment has everything that is needed. It is a bit dark, but when visiting such a wonderful city one doesn`t stay indoors anyway.
Everything Hassan and Marco did for us was very professional and efficient. Thanks a lot!
I haven't met Marco personally but was led to th apartment, which is pretty hidden, by one of his employees. The guy was roughly 45 minutes late, as there was poor communications between two different employees of Marco apparently. This led to having to pay a larger late. Check in fee than what would've been actually the case.
Besides that: I stayed at Marco's place for a couple of days when I visited Rome. The place is conveniently located close to the center and you can easily reach everything on foot or via a short taxi ride. There are a variety of good restaurants close to the apartment.
The apartment itself is nice, as it offers everything to cover basic needs. I would advise travelers to bring your own shower gel etc as Marco doesn't provide these. Please also note that I there is no wifi which can be troublesome at times. Please note the additional fees and the tourist taxes.
The apartment was clean, and it was well maintained.
I am sorry for the delay about the check in; we usually are on time. As explained in the private message, there was a misunderstanding in the communication regarding the arrival time. We recommend our clients to give us a call from the airport as, specially after 19.00, we take about 40-45 minutes to arrive at the aparment. In this case we received the call from the train station which is quote close to the apartment. We never published that the apartment has wifi. Regarding the tourist taxes, they are clearly indicated in the house rules.
We stayed in this apartment for three nights in early March 2014. For us, it was perfect! The location was amazing, in the "Ghetto", walking distance to everything, including the Trastevere neighborhood just across the river. The apt has plenty of space. The "kitchenette" is very small, but we weren't cooking there, so it wasn't an issue for us, but note this if you think you might plan to cook there. We asked for a wi-fi box to be added to the room, which it was, and it worked fine (but not very fast). Communication was very easy and prompt. This is a great option!
Lovely apartment. Set in ruins and a very central location and yet it is very quiet, which is perfect after sight seeing all day & in need of a good nights sleep. We was met by Hassan and he gave us a nice welcome and was full of information about where to go etc. I would definitely recommend this apartment.
