My husband and I spent a week in Rome at this lovely apartment. The location was absolutely phenomenal. We were able to walk everywhere and the apartment overlooks some beautiful ruins. The food directly around the apartment was also fantastic and we felt very safe in the area. Marco was wonderful and very quick to respond to any questions we had. He was also able to arrange airport which is highly recommended. We rented a wifi device from the travel agency and it was easy to use and well worth it.
We booked the apartment fully aware that it does not have air conditioning (understandable considering how old the building is!). There are several fans in the apartment that worked well, however, it was exceptionally hot the week we were visiting so we still highly recommend this apartment anytime, but perhaps more so when it is a little cooler.
Very nice apartment, and the location is absolutely perfect, we were within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit. The apartment is tucked away within these beautiful ruins and is very peaceful, with hardly any noise pollution. Marco and his team were on hand to help with anything needed.
Very accurate listing description. Beautiful and excellent location. Walking distance from all the main attractions. Marco was great at communicating throughout the process of our stay. He accommodated an early check on which was much appreciated after a long flight.
Very nice location near theatre marcello.
Good points: Nice balcony. Quiet apartment. Ideal for 2 people.
Bad points: Living room is not very luminous, the bedroom is not very comfortable, late checkout fee of 50 euros is expansive, wifi not available freely ..
Very nice trip to Rome .... this appartment is perfect located to visit Rome walking ... if you feel tired you have plenty of bus station very close to the appartment. You are close to the old center (colisseum, pantheon, piazza venezia...) and close to all the animation on the trasteverte (restaurant, bar...).
You have a small terasse where you can have a drink after a long day visiting.
Hassen and Marco are very welcoming and reactive for any request you can have (furniture of equipment, organisation of transportation ot airport...).
Small but functional kitchen, huge bathroom and two real and confortable bed (160 * 200).
Don't hesitate to go there, perfect for four persons (we were 4 adults) and fair price.....
We were very pleased with our experience of staying at Foro Piscario. We opted for the airport transfer and highly recommend it from & to the airport. Our driver patiently awaited our delayed arrival and was a joy to ride with to our flat. Upon arrival, Hassan was very welcoming and gave us some tips for our best experience. The flat was exactly as described, surrounded by beautiful ruins and the interior had gorgeous beam ceilings. The neighborhood was very beautiful and we always felt safe. If we visit Rome again, we would be fortunate to stay at this flat again. We highly recommend it, especially if you'd like to visit old Rome.
