The appartement is very nice and big, very well equipped ( wifi, dryer). We stayed with our two childrens. It´s located in a very nice neighbour, with many bars and restaurant. Marco organised a car waiting for us at the airport .We like it very much and we'll surely go black in our future "vacance romane".
The apartment was nicely decorated and comfortable. It had everything we needed. However there were a few negatives. We are a couple in our 60's. There was a lot of street noise from the bars and restaurants below and cigarette smoke. We closed the shutters and the windows and we still had to use ear plugs. Early evening the street noise began and continued till 3:00am and then around 5:00 am the street cleaners and garbage pick up came around. Also there are other apartments in the building and there was a lot of noise coming from the one directly above. We rented for 7 days and on the third day we reported that the kitchen light was not working. It was never attended to and we had to use a table lamp to cook by. No, we would not rent in such a busy area again. Previous reviews had said it was quiet. If you really enjoy the night life, you are not allergic to cigarette smoke and you are a heavy sleeper then this is the place for you!
I'm not crazy about the crowds of tourists in Rome or the touristy things to do in Rome, but I will say that this was one of the best Airbnb experiences I have ever had! I have always been blessed with great airbnb's but this one takes the cake! It was spacious, easy to find, clean, and had great AC! It had beautiful art, a real bed and a great bathroom.
The Location could not be beat. If your into food this is the place for you! You don't have to walk far at all to eat amazing authentic food. Loved this place and the neighborhood!
We stayed here for 5 days and this apartment was spacious and clean! Marco was very good at communicating with us and checking in was a breeze with Hasan who was very friendly. Loved staying in Trastevere. So many restaurants and bars close by which was very convenient. It does get a little loud at night since it's literally across a bar, but we didn't mind it at all. Part of the experience, I suppose, but we loved it! Would recommend staying here to anyone!
We were staying for four days and five nights at his apartment and furnished and full kitchen
From the first moment we had a very good reception.
Excellent facilities, enough comfort and privacy.
Travesty neighborhood, nightlife movement much, Much music and joy.
Excellent restaurants cafes and mini markets
The Location eh very good. Bus stop, metro and taxi next, allowed us to know the points touristic diversions.
Vatican City, Coliseum, Forum Roman Piazza Navona, Piazza of Spain, Trevi Fountain and all the tourist attractions of Rome
We recommend that anyone intending to see Rome, the eternal city.
We loved the apartment. Everything about our experience was great. Marco and his associates were very helpful. The resturants near the apartment were excellent. At night to early morning a little noisey but didnt bother us.
First timer at Airbnb and had an extraordinary experience. Marco's place at 72, Via della Scala is not only an ideal location but the flat is also decorated with great style. We were greeted by friendly Andrea who speaks excellent English.
The flat has everything one can dream about, even a hairdryer! Everything was spotless clean and the bed in master bedroom was one of the best we have slept in.
Neighbourhood is the best; lots of restaurants, bars and shops around plus very well connected logistically. We were not bothered by some late night noises in the street as the wooden shutters kept the noise away very well.
We are happy to recommend the place - we will certainly return!
Sinon, foncez ! Car l'emplacement est vraiment idéal si on veut visiter Rome à pied.
Wonderful organised host, Quick and attentive. Place is great - terrific area. Good hustle and bustle. Area is great for bars and food - lots of locals in the best spots around there. It is a tiny bit noisy - but wasnt a problem. Bars are shut at 2am and the crowd leaves pretty soon after. If you are keen to be in a beautiful, old part of the town, close to the river - young crowd - then its the place to be. Had a bunch of Italian friends recommend it - and it didnt let us down. The flat is clean and modern. Air con which is nice. Great shower. All in all - super easy - good value and a great stay. Thanks guys! alex
The apartment is amazing, with an authentic italian feel, and the location is brilliant to experience the night life of Rome. As mentioned in all the other reviews it is very noisy. Not so concerning in the evening as it's a background hum of chatter and music, but in the morning the sound of smashing glass as the bars clear out bins is quite jarring.
Marco & his colleagues couldn't have been more helpful - they made sure we had somewhere to leave the bags after checkout and organised the airport transfer.
