The space
The apartment is located in the very heart of the historic center of the city, just between the Cuna and Sierpes street. Wellknown places as Lebrija Palace, Salvador square or San Francisco square are a stone´s throw away from it.
There are only five apartments in the whole house so the atmosphere is quiet and homely.
The apartment is equipped with heating and air conditioning so you could enjoy even the sevillian summers.
The dinning room is very roomy with two balconies, a table for four guests, an easy chair and a double sofa-bed.
The bedroom, with balcony as well, is fitted with a double wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a double bed.
The indoor bathroom is not very big but is ventilated, pretty, tidy and full equipped.
The kitchen is charming and it is big enough as to enjoy cooking some of the local products that you can get into markets as “La Encarnación”, just two minutes walking from the apartment.
There is a stair in the kitchen to access to a small room that opens to the rooftop terrace (there are some pots which are Spanish typical flowers called “geranios”).
The rooftop terrace is very sunny, spacious and could be used by another five neighbours. In front of the room there is a table and some chairs that belong to the apartment; it is very pleasant to turn a candle at night while you have a drink or to have breakfast to start the day outdoor in springtime (there is milk, coffee, tea and sugar in the kitchen).
If you stay at home during the Holy Week, although is very impressive to enjoy “Procesiones” on the street, you can also see many of them going out to the balconies of the apartment or going upstairs to the rooftop. Every year someone sings the so called “Saetas”, natural songs dedicated to Jesus Christ and to the Virgin Mary, on the opposite house´s balcony. I suggest that you go upstairs to the rooftop and listen to these emotive songs, full of feelings and passion. There will be schedules of the Holy week at home to help you see as many “Procesiones” as possible and to get to know which ones go through Cuna street, just in case you decide to see them at home.

DETAILS TO MAKE YOU FEEL AT HOME:
-Television, DVD and Wifi.
-Microwave, toaster, kettle, cofee/tea maker, electric citrus squeezer, whisk, microwave, tableware and kitchenware.
-Cleaning products, cloth, linen table, iron and many other gadgets you maybe need to use.
-Linen, shower gel, shampoo, airconditioner, tooth paste, shaving foam, disposable razor, hairdryer, make-up remover, insect repellent an other products.
-First-aid kit in the bathroom.
-Clothes linen and duvets in the bedroom.
-Line on the rooftop terrace.
-Travel cot for babys.

If you might need something that you wished to have, don´t hesitate to let me know and I will be very glad to make my best to get it for you.

Guest access
The rooftop terrace is so spacious that even if it is visited for the other five neighbours you will enjoyed anyway. Especially during the Holy week, the house is not so quiet because neighbours like to invite family and friends to see “Procesiones” from the rooftop or their own balconies.
There is automatic entry phone, cleaning services on the common areas once a week and a lift with an alarm system 24 hours.

Other things to note
Although the location of the apartment is very handy to get to know the city in just two o three days, if you decide to stay for longer the apartment is comfortable, very well equipped, there are extra linen and duvet and we can provide you with what you could need.
The checking –in and checking-out will be as flexible as we can so we could agree another hours different from the ones published on the web.

Where you’ll be

Seville, Andalucía, Spain

This neighborhood is really lively, full of monuments, restaurants and shops.
In two minutes walking: “Salvador” square to have a bear, “Encarnación” o “Setas gigantes” square with a nice market and many “bares de tapas” in the area , “Museo” square with The “Bellas artes” Museum, very nice building to enjoy Murillo, Valdés Leal or Zurbarán, genius of the Spanish paintings. This square is a meeting point for many artist s that show their works every Sunday.
In five minutes walking : the bullfighter “La Maestranza”,the famous “Torre del Oro” on the Guadalquivir river, the atonish Cathedral and surroundings, the “Alcalzares” garden o “Santa Cruz” neighborhood.
In ten or fifteen minutes walking is the “Triana” neighborhood full of churches and “bares de tapas”; close to “Triana” don´t forget a nice walking along the river to enjoy the landscape of “Cartuja” Island far away.
If don´t want to miss “Plaza de España”, the University and the famous Alfonso XIII Hotel, it will take you just twenty minutes walking or if you don´t feel like walking, just take the tram in Plaza Nueva square (at the end of Sierpes street), get out on the second stop ( just beside the Alfonso XIII Hotel) and then in a five minutes walking you will reach “Plaza de España”, very impressive local monument inside the “Maria Luisa” park.
If you like antique shops, there is a street called “Acetres” just besides Rivero street where you can find some curiosity things and I would like to recommend a small bar with tradicional and quality food called “Er Caserio” in the same street.

My work: Self-employed
Speaks English
Wellcome to my house!!. I am a member of AIRBNB from January 2015 and my apartment was published the 13th of February. I was born in Madrid and I have been living in Seville for ten years. I studied Forestry Engineering in Madrid and I have worked for the Enviromental Department of Andalusia region and associated companies since then. In 2007, I lived three months with a great Irish family in county Tipperary and later on, I left for Dublin. I was taking English lessons in Emerald school and I was working for a travel agency during one and a half year. When I was younger I was living in Paris for four months to improve my French but to be honest it is a little bit rusty at the moment. I am quiet person but full of curiosities. I like studying and l became Pharmacist last year in Seville University. I love Andalusian people, beaches and villages, especially Cadiz, it is fantastic and not very far from Sevilla, just one hour driving. I like going to Madrid to visit my small family, specially I enjoy being with my 94 th years old grandmother and my little nieces, whom I miss a lot. So, now that you know something about me , let me tell you that Sevilla is a must-see; it is full of happinness and calmness and its weather, cuisine and cultural heritage deserve a special mention. As I told you in my first paragraph, I am a new hostess, so it is going to be the first time I offer my home to other people and I am very excited with this project. To finish my presentation I would like to share with you a coutation special for me knowdays. “Beginning things is having nearly finished”. I would really love you to stay in my house, get away from it all, enjoy the city, recharge batteries, pamper yourself……. and if you fancy and Seville inspire you….. might be the moment to think about starting whatsover dream has been knocking your mind ….. Enjoy Seville, Ana Welcome my home!!. I have been an AIRBNB member since January 2015. I am a Madrid native who has lived in Seville for over ten years. I studied Montes Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and I have been working for the Ministry of Environment and Affiliated Companies during this time. I have lived in Dublin for a year and a half where I was working in a travel agency and learning English. Last year I graduated in Pharmacy at the University of Seville, where I have enjoyed my career and my colleagues a lot. In general, I'm a quiet person. I love talking, walking around the countryside, and really enjoy the good food. I love the beach and the Andalusian ones are spectacular, especially those in Cadiz. I think cities like Seville are full of joy and culturally and culturally and gastronomically difficult to match. This is my first time offering my home to other people and I'm looking forward to it; everything seems little to me so that whoever comes is almost like home, can rest well and enjoy the city. I look forward to seeing you. If you decide to choose my house, I hope that on this trip you can disconnect from everything to the fullest, enjoy the city, recharge and even if Seville inspires you and fancy, you can sketch the beginning of those ideas and dreams that come and go from our minds but to which we never dedicate time, we always think they are impossible to get. Be sure to come to Seville, you'll love it. Best regards, Ana
