Amazing location - just a block away from bustling night-life. This was our first trip to Rome, and the location made for a great way to wind down a tiring day sight-seeing with dinner/drinks before stumbling home and hitting the bed. The location is also well connected by buses to the major sites in Rome.
Getting keys to the place was a bit of a challenge as one of Davide's friends wasn't at the apartment when we arrived (around the time we had told Davide we would by email). We weren't carrying a mobile-phone; so we had to hunt down a place with WiFi to make a phone-call.
I am happy that you enjoyed your sat and the place, thanks!
About check in, please consider that I kindly remind, togheter with the booking confirmation and house instructions, to call by the way to the apartment, as confirmation. Arrival time communicated in advance can be very aleatory, due to flight delay, transportation, etc, and we can't wait hours into the apartment, sorry.
Knowing that, if some of my guests prefer to travel without mobile, they can call by a public phone/wifi text or...simply understand that they will have some waiting at their arrival.
Ottimo soggiorno. Appartamento a pochi passi dai principali monumenti della città in quartiere molto tranquillo. Sebastian, "l'aiutante" di Davide è una persona molto gentile e disponibile.
Davide was a wonderful host. He organised a transfer to and from the airport and was flexible when our flight was delayed. He gave us brilliant local restaurant recommendations and was at the flat when we arrived to show us around. His place was clean, modern and easy to stay in, a great location and perfect for our stay.
Great apartment in a great location - Trastevere!
On the main floor so its excellent if you have heavy or a lot of luggage!
Ideal for 2 or 3 people.
Davide and his friend were great hosts; Davide replied to my emails pretty fast and answered all my questions. We had a small problem one morning and I contacted Davide right away... He couldn't make it but sent someone to fix the issue and helped us out which was really kind of him.
I would stay at his place again!
A cosy, clean and mordern apartment in a great location (you can walk to a lot of tourist attractions and Trastevere is a vibrant area, so nice). Davide is an excellent host.
However, I suggest you to choose this flat if you are 3 people, not 4. Because the bed in the room is for one person. And for your information, the couch is in need of being replaced. We put the mattress on the ground to can sleep.
But except it, we had a very pleasant stay. Rome is magic !
A tiny apartment in a great location. Davide was an excellent host helping us out with additional accommodation at one of his other properties, and also with early-morning transportation to the airport.
I am studying abroad here in Rome and I found this apartment for my parents and brother to stay during their visit! I hadn't actually seen the pictures online as one of my family members had referred me to Davide (they had stayed at one of his other locations).
Davide is a great host, he is very kind and easy to contact. We had a minor problem reading the password for the wifi, and Davide answered his phone right away, was patient and sent me the password via email, and it worked. He also let me know of the time change the night before my family had their flight home. I really thought that was a thoughtful thing for him to remind us of, as we would not have known otherwise.
The apartment is right in trastevere's main location. It is on the first floor of the building which was nice because my family had a lot of luggage. I was very surprised upon entering the space for the first time. It is very tiny. The space consisted of a living area, a small kitchen and a tight hallway leading into the bedroom also where the bathroom is located. It was too tight for my family, there wasn't any room to really walk around with their luggage in the living area. (My mom, dad, and 21 year old brother stayed here). However, this place would be perfect for a couple. Davide does have multiple locations in or near the trastevere area that would work out for more than two people.
The couch is in need of being replaced as it slants to the point where it is uncomfortable to sit on. At the time of their stay it was a bright red couch that did not have the white cover that is shown in the photo. My brother had to sleep on this pull out couch, and it wasn't comfortable for him, as it is in bad shape.
One other thing, my brother mentioned to me that he found mouse poop in the apartment, although never saw a mouse.
The description says there is a washing machine, but we did not see it anywhere.
Overall Davide was a great host, and I will be staying at another one of his locations in a few weeks when I will have another visitor here in Rome!
Hi Danielle, really thanks for your kind words. Washing machine was in the closet in the courtyard. I am sorry you did not ask to me. After that, I would like to assure your mum that of course no mouses were been there! Windows also have a grill for mosquitos, and no animals have the chance to enter into the apartment, and the building is well kept and clean.
First, Davide is extremely considerate, and I will definitely want to rent from him again. This suite was smaller than I expected, but the location is great.
I organized an excursion to Rome for 18 students and rented four of Davide's apartments in Trastevere. I stayed in Double Suite and really liked it. It's a very charming, spacious place with some exotic furniture.. The location could not be better -- a beautiful square, lots of cafes, good food, and a nice farmer's market right around the corner. Even though the neighbourhood is quite lively, the apartment is not noisy as it is in the rear part of the building, looking onto a small inner yard. All five of us immediately felt at home. The rest of the group was equally happy with Trastevere Big Pop, Suite and Windows. It was also fairly easy to arrange to meet Davide for check-in, and he let us have two of the apartments for the entire last day of stay which was great. Thank you very much for making our trip to Rome such an enjoyable experience!!
My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay in Davide's apartment during our Roman holiday. Davide was helpful with all of our questions from pre-booking, to check-in, to check-out. We arrived a little earlier than the regular check-in time, but he was flexible and accommodating, though he wasn't able to meet us in person. The private car service that he booked for us to get to the airport was very helpful (and much easier than taking public transportation at 6am). The surrounding Trastavere neighborhood is not what you would expect of Rome, but we found it to be a little treasure full of personality, great little shops, and amazing restaurants. The location is about a 15 minute walk from both Vatican City and the Campo de Fiori area. We would definitely stay here again ourselves if we ever get the opportunity to return to Rome.
