Our home is located in a beautiful, secure and small-town friendly neighborhood. It is approximately 10 minutes drive from Stanford University. Our downtown is almost like a village and is a vibrant community center; the public library is also well visited and all are within walking distance from our home. There are many restaurants and coffee shops in the Village to enjoy a relaxing breakfast or meal, people watch and meeting the locals. We have bicycles for you to use and this is a great bicycle-friendly community. The room that I am offering to rent is a studio and has everything a visitor needs to enjoy his or her stay. The room offers a mini bar, microwave oven, and a large bookcase, Cable TV, WiFi and its own separate bathroom. The room has its own private entrance and exit to the backyard patio through a sliding door and backyard gate. Arrangements may be made to use our washer and dryer. I am sure you will enjoy our friendly community and your vacation.
Please, no smoking and no pets. The room is very comfortable for two people, but it might be possible to include one small child. While you are staying, you are welcome to use the back yard and arrangements may be made to use our laundry machines.
Iris's place was as described, clean and with all the necessary to have a great night sleep, there is also a big TV. The location is very quiet and there is plenty of space to park your car.
Iris is a great host, very friendly and she will make sure you have a fantastic time.
This was by far the best Airbnb experience I had so far. Iris is a very nice host
and made me feel like home for all of the 7 weeks I stayed there.
The room is very spacious and bright, it comes with very nice furniture, an own
private bathroom and a small kitchenette. I could also use the house's kitchen and
Iris' house is located in a very quiet part of Los Altos. Within a 15 minutes walk
you can be in Los Altos with a great selection of restaurants. Also nearby are
Stevens Creek and Rancho San Antonio - both great places to go for a quick run.
I hope I can stay here again the next time I visit the area.
Excellent. Well located place, shortish walk into the lovely town. Iris is a terrific host, friendly, accommodating, just the right balance of around but not in your face...
My first Airbnb experience and I couldn't have been happier. Iris was extremely welcoming and made my move to the Bay Area so much easier. The room is exceptional with everything needed - including a great TV with cable to watch the Giants, and everything else as described. The area is very quiet and peaceful yet only a 2 minute drive (15 minutes walk) to Los Altos downtown or 5 minute drive to Whole Foods. While the self contained room provides privacy, Iris and her family are great to talk with and very helpful. I would certainly stay here again.
Staying with Iris was one of the best airbnb experience for me. Iris treats airbnb guests as her own guest and the place is also great !
We stayed at Iris' here for one week while traveling in US. The room has everything we need for a good stay. Iris was extremely helpful and welcoming. She was willing to help us with everything we needed and some tips for things to do in the area. We enjoyed our time in her home and would gladly stay with her again

I reside in California, USA and my family enjoys traveling to explore new world adventures. We enjoy most outdoor activities as well as spending time indoors to catch up on reading and relaxing. Some of my daily activities include working out at the gym and taking guitar classes from one of the best guitarists in the country. We appreciate our fortunate lifestyle and try to return something good back to society such as recently joining a Church mission to Mexico to help to build homes for the less fortunate people; it was a fun and rewarding experience. We enjoy nature and meeting interesting people from different cultures and love the simple pleasures that life offers.
