This comfortable and super clean bedroom with a large private bathroom in a charming Victorian is centrally located in prime Potrero neighborhood with Whole Foods, cafes and bus lines nearby and walking distance to number of companies in the SOMA.

Potrero is one of the great neighborhood in San Francisco. It's sunny here even when most of San Francisco is shrouded under fog. You can enjoy great views of downtown and the bay as you walk around the neighborhood. Its served by three public bus lines (#10, #19, #22). Caltrain and BART are close by as well.
Share it with a couple who are originally from Nepal and love to cook. Maybe, you will get invited for dinner as well after an exhausting day in the city:-)

An awesome couple who offer an awesome place to stay.
I stayed for 2 weeks with them and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Big, spacious and clean room and a large private bathroom. I'm a very light sleeper and at no point was there any sort of noise or anything that I could complain about.
The location is really central. Plenty of bus routes close by and a
Whole Foods a 1 minute walk away where I ate all my meals.
My time with Umesh and Nodana was incredible. They are really great hosts, and not just the make-sure-the-sheets-are-clean kind of hosts, but the kind of hosts who truly welcome you into their home in a way that you feel like you belong. Our conversations were engaging and interesting, and I felt like an old family friend. In addition their home is beautiful and the space is clean and welcoming. At the same time, some days I left early and worked late so we didn't see each other and they respected that personal space, too. I highly recommend staying with them and getting to know them!
This was my 3rd stay at Umesh and Nodana's lovely home, and I plan on returning again! They made my stay so convenient and memorable.
Another wonderful stay at this lovely home. Thanks again!
There is a reason why this is my second review. Umesh and Nodana's house is a nice place to come back to after a day out in the city for work or vacation. There are tons of restaurants within a 10 minute walk and parking on Vermont Street is plentiful. It's only a matter of time until I stay here again!
Thanks again for the comfortable stay! See you next time I am in SF! :)
Very convenient area, well linked by bus to other districts of interest
The house is lovely ans super clean and nicely decorated.
Good location, Big room, nice bathroom. Didnt spend Much time there.
Umesh & Nodana have a beautiful and lovely home. The bedroom is massive, as-is the private washroom. I had a pretty busy schedule during my 5-day/4-night stay, and was given complete freedom during this time. They invited me to join them for dinner one night, and the food they cooked was delicious!!
We had a wonderful time in San Francisco in September. Our hosts Umesh and Nodana were very gracious and truly great representatives of the United States and Nepal. They were helpful in where to go and what to see. On Umesh's advice we explored the Potrero Hill neighbourhood and found excellent restaurants and met great people. Make sure you try Chez Mamam and adjourn to Bloom's Saloon. Look for Paul from England and Paul from the neighbourhood. Go to Plow for breakfast and the Ramp for lunch. We will certainly be coming back. Thank you Umesh and good luck Nodana with your studies.
