The house is very well located in the heart of the medina, close to the most important attractions of the city (+/-10 min walking distance), like the Jema el Fna square and the Madrasa Ben Youssef.
There are a lot of groceries, souvenirs and handicraft shops in the area, as well as restaurants and cafés, but I am a great cook and love to share meals with people.
There is public parking nearby as well as bus stops at the square and even closer a place to take a taxi.
At the house, there are two bathrooms, one kitchenette (with fridge and washing machine), one living room, two bedrooms and a terrace. There's hot water and internet (by USB modem). Bed linen can be provided. There are no TV sets, although there is one TV plug in the living room, but no satellite or cable.
There are two permanent guests with whiskers, spayed, vaccinated and very loyal to the litter box.
This is my house so I would like it also to be "your house" even if for a shorter period. We will be housemates and not just "host" and "guest".

Great house in a perfect location :)
Patricia/this house couldn't have been better! I lived here for nearly a month in July (the hottest in Marrakech) and my stay was still comfortable and more wonderful than I anticipated. :)
The room is spacious and clean and cool even in July, and Patricia has two very, very friendly cats named Elephant and Mouse. I am actually terribly allergic to cats and brought medication, but didn't need it because for some reason I was not allergic to them.
Anyway, the location of Patricia's house is great. Less than 10 minutes walking from the Djemma el-Fna, it is close to everything you could need - all the major tourist sites as well as the most interesting local ones, corner stores for groceries and water. Quite seriously there was nothing I could not walk to.
Patricia herself is also an exceptional host. We ended up fasting for Ramadan and preparing the ftour meal together, and she's a really good cook and makes a delicious harira soup. Plus, she's super generous and even lent me her yoga mat which was much appreciated.
I've probably typed too much, but my point is that if you can, you should stay here! It's the best way to live, for real, in Marrakech.
Staying with Patricia was great! Good location, nice house, quiet, great cats. Patricia was extremely helpful as a host. She is quite knowledgeable about the culture, speaks about 7 languages so can communicate well with anyone. She met us at the taxi and walked us through the medina maze to her place which was a big help. She wanted us to make ourselves at home which was much appreciated. Our room was quite adequate, the shower was always hot, the price to stay was very reasonable, lovely terrace to enjoy, laundry facilities. Can't do better when you travel. If want to experience Marrakech in a very comfortable and relaxed way, I would recommend staying at this guest house.
I stayed with Patricia in Marrakech for 30 days in March 2013. The price is very reasonable, and Patricia is a very friendly and intelligent young woman. The location is in the heart of the Medina, thus very close to and in walking distance of all the central parts of the city. The room I occupied was very quiet, and there is access to the roof terrace, a shower room, and there are basic cooking facilities on the ground floor. As Patricia herself acknowledges, there is some work required in order to make the room more comfortable and rather better appointed. It is a question of details. However, for the price, it would be near impossible to find such economical accommodation right in the middle of the Medina, a few minutes walk from the major square, the Djemaa el Fna. Oh, and it is better for any guest if you are a cat lover. There are two. They are adorable.
Alles Gute weiterhin Patricia!
