Interaction with guests

Other things to note
Pearl Guest House is in the vicinity of thirteen popular wedding venues, 3 spas, several conference venues and equestrian centres, a battle monument, Rhino Park (a McCarthy 4x4 track) and an Magnum archery centre.
Our breakfast is an "on-the-go" breakfast, served in an origami basket and to be enjoyed on the patio or taken with on departure.
We expect our guests to respect our terms and conditions at all times.
My name is Frauke. I was born in Germany of an opera singer and conductor father and an artist mother. We emigrated to South Africa when I was still a child and settled in Durban. After completing school I studied art, mathematics and ceramics in Pietermaritzburg (South Africa), Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Krefeld (Germany). I then spent four years in Windhoek, Namibia, where I opened my own pottery studio and met and married David. We moved to Pretoria and bought a smallholding 36 km east of the centre of Pretoria on the way to the Kruger National Park. We have been living here for 38 years, bringing up three lovely children. David worked as an architect and I as a maths and art teacher and lecturer. On retirement we started a guest house. In the last two years we have had many interesting and wonderful guests and thoroughly enjoy running our small but peaceful and attractive guest house.
