The space
Known as the "City of Five Flags" Pensacola is a beautiful historic town near breathtaking Pensacola Beach. Our spacious, pet- and family-friendly home captures a bit of historic Pensacola and southern charm, providing a relaxing retreat after a busy day exploring the beach or downtown.
Our home features four bedrooms and sleeps 8 comfortably in beds.
• The master suite with King size Tempurpedic bed has it's own full bathroom, plus a sitting room which also opens onto the covered patio; this room offers extra sleeping space on the sofa bed (on request and additional fee) and has a smart Roku TV.
• There are two additional bedrooms downstairs; one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds perfect for kids.
• The large upstairs bedroom features a queen bed on one side and a cute spot on the other where you can get comfortable with a book or play games (an airbed can be set up on request for additional sleeping space - please note that guests over 8 do require an additional fee).
• All bedrooms feature room darkening blinds and ceiling fans.
If you are visiting for work, you'll appreciate the office, complete with desk, wi-fi (now with highspeed fiber!) and wireless printer. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal (including place settings for 12) at the central dining table which seats 8. The main living room features an open concept, with comfortable seating and a large smart Roku-equipped TV where you can log in to your favorite streaming services. French doors (with internal blinds) open onto the back patio and another French door opens to a storage sunroom where a collection of outdoor games (cornhole, badminton, giant horseshoes, etc) are stored.
Enjoy the beautiful Florida weather in the large fenced-in yard featuring a fire pit, propane grill, covered outdoor dining area (table for 6 with an overhead fan and privacy shades!), patio seating and room to play yard games. If you prefer inside, you'll be entertained with two smart TVs, wi-fi, books and board games. Kids will enjoy the special assortment of kids games, books and the outdoor fun. Top notch amenities, with everything you need to make you feel at home, and even a beach cart with chairs, umbrella, beach towels, cooler bag & sand toys for the kids! We welcome pets, upon approval, with a $75 per pet fee.

The total price you see on Airbnb now includes all fees but we want you to understand what you are paying: a $225 cleaning fee, a $75 pet fee per pet, and an extra guest fee of $25 per night per person (for groups over 8), plus the fee that Airbnb charges guests. Our home is professionally cleaned, and we proudly pay our cleaners a living wage. We believe in fair, transparent pricing so you can book with confidence! A multi-time superhost since 2017, we know that cleanliness matters! Our home is professionally cleaned after each stay and all linens are washed between guests - including quilts, blankets, mattress pads and pillow protectors. Veteran owned and operated.
Five Flags Retreat is conveniently located near downtown Pensacola, a short drive to Pensacola Beach, Gulf Islands National Seashore and multiple state parks.
The environment and sustainability is important to us. Recycling is available at this location and separate bins are provided for your use. Sheets are organic cotton and we do our best to use eco-friendly toiletries, cleaning and laundry supplies when available.
Please note that a signed Vacation Rental Agreement is required and is sent by email so we must collect your email address. Photo ID is also required for compliance of our minimum age requirement.
Guest access
We have a Schlage keyless entry door lock and you will be provided your door code the evening before your arrival.
We have ample parking in the driveway. Please no on street parking or parking in the grass. Traveling with a BOAT or RV/CAMPER? Ask us about parking in our additional back lot.
Other things to note
Signed Vacation Rental Agreement and ID are required. The names of all guests staying on the property are required.
We provide linens for all the beds, a towel set for each registered guest, and a starter set of paper products and cleaning products (paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher liquid, hand soap, laundry detergent) that will NOT be replenished during your stay. Our home is convenient to many grocery stores (Publix, Fresh Market, Walmart, BJs) that offer curbside pickup.
Have a larger family and need the sofa bed or an air bed set up? Please ask us. Please note that there is an additional per person fee over 8.
Check-out instructions will be in the house, but are very simple common courtesies. Please empty the fridge and freezer of your items, do the dishes/start the dishwasher, and take out trash & recyclables to the outdoor bins.
*Security cameras are located on the exterior of the house at the entrances, and record video and audio. There are no interior cameras.*
Our property is in Florida, which is a humid subtropical environment. You may see wildlife including squirrel, possum, birds, heron. You may also see insects, bugs, bats, snakes, ants, bees, wasps, spiders, raccoon, and other creatures that call Florida their home. We do have an exterminating company treat our property regularly. However, if you encounter an insect or ant that finds its way inside, please feel free to dispose of it or catch and release it to the outside world (your choice). Refunds or discounts will not be issued due to creature sightings.

This home is located on the coast of the Gulf, which is subject to seasonal weather variations. Per our Firm Cancellation Policy, no refunds or discounts are offered for weather-related cancellations unless a named storm triggers a recommended or mandatory evacuation order for our area. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance to protect your stay.
