The modern excellently maintained building is located on a QUIET dead end street so there is not the usual loud noises from scooters, buses , construction projects etc, There is often some free street parking directly in front of the buidling . (The apartment owner has his garage directly below the apartment and it is possible for you to leave your car in this space just below your living room window! ) Your car is parked just outside your front door. This is a truly great feature as finding parking in Nice can be difficult at best.
The apartment is ideally located in the heart of town, near all restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and a supermarket. Less than a 5 minute walk to the SNCF train station and tramway as well as ave Jean Medecin the main shopping area of Nice. walking distance to the beach . Numerous bus lines including two direct ariport buses. # 23 (1 Euro) and # 99 (4 E) pass minutes from the apartment. And in minutes your at the beach, Old Town and airport.

The good size kitchen has been completely renovated and equipped. The dining table and chairs are found in the center of the kitchen. All new appliances, refrig/freezer, full stove, halogen HOB, microwave, washing machine and kettle, coffee maker, toaster etc.
The numerous countertops provide lots of working space for the most active chefs. All kitchenware, utensils and dishes are provided.
From the kitchen you can access via the large French doors onto the terrace. Makes serving and eating out very convienent as your kitchen is nearby the outside dining area.
TERRACE: a full 20 meters in size! The terrace has a large outdoor table and chairs. Seating for 6 or more. Ideal for dining under the stars, reading or checking emails etc. There is plenty of room for placing sunlounger chairs. The terrace overlooks a quiet court yard .
BATHROOM: The large modern and beautifully designed bathroom has been totally redone new.
There is a large shower area. Toilet.
Large wash basin, recessed cabinets, towel warmer and heated floor as well as more than ample lighting fixtures compliment the room. Iron, ironing board and hair dryer are provided for your use and located in the large closet.
LIVING/DINING ROOM: The large living and dining area is equipped with a comfortable sofa that sleeps one.
There is a classic dining table and 4 chairs as you first enter the room. A beautiful overhead ceiling lamp provides mood lighting and compliments the beautiful dining table and chairs. Makes for romantic candlelite evenings. Like the rest of the apartment everything is tastefully decorated.

PARKING: It is possible to have a parking space directly in front of your apartment for your private use. The space is located directly below your bedroom window and next to the building entrance door. A really ideal situation in a city known for its parking problems.
You will find meter parking, limited free on street parking on nearby streets as well as a public car park located within a 5 minutes walk.
The apartment is ideally located and certainly accessible. It's just a 5 minute walk to the bus stop where you can catch many buses to city centre, Promenade des Anglais, Old Town. The two ariport buses #23 (1 Euro) and 20-25 minutes and the direct Airport bus #99 (4 Euro) only 15-20 minutes. The SNCF Train Station is just 3 stops and 5 minutes by bus or less than a 10 minute walk from the apartment.
Its a 10 minute walk to reach the famous Promenade des Anglais and its beautiful beaches. A 15 minute walk brings you to Place Massena and the Old Town. Should you prefer, there are regular buses as well as the great new tramway.
In the immediate area of the apartment there are many restaurants, bakeries, bars, cafes, supermarket and shops less than a 5 minute walk.

Great apartment managed by a great guy. Jack was responsive and willing to accommodate by all means. Apartment would be the best beach vacation stat as it's location to the beach is awesome! Close to grocery eateries as well. Very worth the time and visit. Jack makes it an easy choice.
A great apartment that suited my needs travelling with two young children as the cold weather hit!! It was so warm and had good amenities (shower), was quiet and had a great safe terrace for them to play on. Jack was really friendly and a great communicator who wants to make sure you have a great time in Nice. He is knowledgeable about the area and what to do. Parking to have right outside was great, although do beware if you have a really big car it can be tight to exit down the little one way street. I managed in a Grand Scenic and saw bigger vehicles go. But so convenient to have parking! We walked a lot to places but there are numerous buses, and it is close to the train station where I went to Monaco from. Good bakeries close by. And lots of other eating options. Jacks description in his listing is accurate and comprehensive. Would recommend and rebook.

Jack was excellent as our host as he went out of his way to a assist by giving advice on transport, food etc. we loved the breakfast place that he recommended as it was so convenient and delicious, the croissants and coffee, not forgetting the banquette lunch takeaways that we also got. Jack joined us for breakfast on our last morning and we cannot recommend him enough that you will be in good hands if you are looking for accommodation in Nice.
Jack was a helpful host. We originally looked at one of his other apartments but following a discussion we agreed this was a more appropriate location. We have a toddler and needed certain requirements which he very helpfully met. Jack also provided substantial information about the area which was very useful. I have no hesitation in recommending the apartment or Jack as a host.
Quintessential French apartment. Excellent location for walking to shops and especially the best croissants and coffee! We were immediately put at ease by Jack, who speaks both English (native tongue) and French. He was waiting for us when we arrived, helped us check in, and gave us great information on places to see, eat, and explore. The apartment was walking distance to the beach and another plus - we found it was walking distance to the train station. This allowed us to grab a quick train ride to Villefrance Su Mare beach. MUCH more beautiful than downtown Nice beach and so charming. The apartment itself had those beautiful tall windows that opened up to the quiet street. A big terrace is included which we used for our meals at home. We would definitely stay there again - there was even parking for our full-size SUV.
This was our first experience with airbnb bookings. The apartment was very spacious and clean and suited the four of us perfectly for the two nights we were there. We had a problem with the washing machine (the washing cycle wouldn't complete so therefore we couldn't open it and our clothes were trapped in there) but Jack was going to get it fixed soon. We would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to be near everything.
Loved this flat. 15 minute easy walk to the beach. Jack so friendly and relaxed and accommodating. We had a late flight and he found a place for us to store our bags and shower from the beach. Good supermarkets handy, walkable to old town, close to railway station. Beds comfy lots of room for 3 of us and 2 visitors who spent time and shared some meals during the day. A deck with an awning off the kitchen. All it needs for perfection is the missing fans (Jack tried but Nice is empty of fans apparently) and a washing machine that spins (although the weather was so hot they dried on the same day but might be a bit harder beyond August!). Highly recommend
