About This Listing
B&B Calamatta Rome lies in the centre of the capital and is housed in a building that dates back to the 1940s. We are located in a very quiet street, not far from Piazza Cavour, home of the Palace of Justice, and within easy reach are many of Rome's most famous monuments of historical and cultural interest; St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican City, Mausoleum of Hadrian, Piazza del Popolo, Ara Pacis, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain and more.
Just a few steps away are some of the city's most elegant and famous shopping streets, such as Via Condotti, Via Frattina, Via del Corso, Via Veneto and Via Cola di Rienzo, all reachable in 5 minutes.
Getting around the historical centre, as well as further afield, is easy thanks to the excellent selection of public transport facilities in the direct area, including the metro and buses.

The room was great and the AC helped cool us down after a long day of walking. The bathroom had tight quarters but was sufficient. Close to a bus stop and walking distance to other sites. Also another plus is the bus shuttle nearby that takes you direct to the FCO airport which saved us big time money and from lugging our bags back to the nearest metro stop. the cost was 8 euro per person so definite time and money saver!
Valerio was super helpful and responsive to all of our emails. He made sure we were taken care of. Note that breakfast is not offered in the hotel as its available in a nearby bar for the typical european breakfast of a coffee and pastry. Overall enjoyable stay and would recommend.

About the Host, Valerio
Hi I'm Valerio from Rome.
I really like to travel and meet people from all around the world.
I love meat, I even went to Argentina last year to eat some steaks- bite de chorizo! I like sports and I am a big fan of football (soccer) .
Traveling has been a great experience for me, so as long as I'll stay in Rome until the end of the year I decided to open this BB to have the chance to meet new people and show them around my city.
