  • One of the most beautiful places I've seen! Someone put a lot of thought into every detail. Our son recently moved to San Francisco and we joined him and our two daughters to celebrate Christmas as a family. Castro Gardens was a perfect place for us to stay. The apartment is beautifully decorated, comfortable, a great location and it felt like home. Parking can be a challenge, but can be found within 2 -3 blocks. Sara and Jordan were great!

  • Our experience at the Castro Garden Penthouse was fantastic. Clean and comfortable, cozy and warm - with amazing beds and a beautiful garden to boot. One of my favorite listings I've stayed at on Airbnb.

  • The house was amazing. Location convenient to public transit & amenities. All I could hope for.. yet, there was more! Sara & Jordan were in contact multiple times before arrival. Passing along information on parking, entry, use/location of heaters & neighborhood. Truly felt our happiness was of utmost concern. I've had no negative experiences w/AirBnB.. but this was possibly the most positive. Thank you!!

  • Really happy about my experience at Loft and Garden Properties. My family stayed here for Thanksgiving, and we really enjoyed cooking in the chef kitchen. Also, special thank you to the host Sara. When we first arrive on Thanksgiving eve, the internet on one side of the apartment wasn't working. I called Sara, and despite the holiday, she was able to call someone to get the internet working. Thank you again!

  • The property and neighborhood were perfect for our family stay in SF. I cannot recommend Loft and Garden Properties high enough relative to all others we have experienced. Great job!!

About
I love people... truly I adore meeting people, hearing about their lives, and making a difference for others. Being able to provide clean, lovely and stylish homes to guests is deeply fulfilling to me. It is an honor to have the opportunity to be hospitable. Even if most of my communication is with the individual reserving the home, I know that I am taking care of them so that they may take care of the other members in their group - whether that is three generations of a family or a group of friends or a team of coworkers. I live in San Francisco and offer a whole home to guests that I also own. In addition, I help some dear friends and family by providing guest services for homes that they own. I have always been passionate about providing wonderful customer service - even when I was a babysitter or worked in retail as a teenager. The home owners I help appreciate my passion and want people who stay in their homes to feel cared for and loved by me. All of my activities - such as responding swiftly to questions, fulfilling special requests, and providing neighborhood information to guests - are intended create a positive experience. For clarification, taking care of guests is at times a team effort. So you may read reviews that mention other people's names who are (or have been) part of my excellent team. Being able to provide a whole home - not just beds, but a kitchen and communal living space - especially inspires me. Recently, parents with their 5 young children stayed at one of my homes. I came by to drop off some extra items and got to watch the father play with the baby and see the other kids in their footie pjs piled up on the couch enjoying a cartoon before bed. I believe they made most of their meals in the kitchen, which was a significant savings for a family of their size. When they checked out, the parents told me how it simply would not have been possible for them to take a vacation like this at a hotel. It moved me to know that I gave these parents and children something so precious. My mother probably would have had a bed & breakfast, but instead ran a small business to support my dad's dreams. Even still, she had a comfortable lounge, complete kitchen, full time cook, and little touches like scented candles so that clients felt at home. She hosts a Thanksgiving dinner for 40+ so that friends, family, friends of family, family of friends, etc can experience belonging and being part of something special. I inherited her love for hospitality, combined with my father's outgoing nature. I've had the good fortune to travel internationally a bit. I'm learning and eventually will be able to speak French, Spanish, Italian and perhaps some other languages. I want to be able to communicate with people globally in their own language, whether they are visiting me or I'm visiting them. I also deeply enjoy exploring the city in which I live. Even after living in LA for 30+ years, I was always learning something new and discovering special qualities. There is so much happening in San Francisco, one can be a "tourist" in this city and never get bored. There isn't enough time in the day to attend all the events and try all the restaurants, etc. I appreciate when my guests tell me about their SF adventures.
