La estancia muy bien. El apartamento es diferente pero interesante para compartir con gente joven. Yo lo soy de espíritu. Grande, bien situado con posibilidades de cocinar. Cristóbal encantador y con gran predisposición para ayudar. estuvo perfecto.
i am writing this on behalf of my partner, Ray. He was staying in the city to watch the cricket. He said the location was ok and the room was clean but basic. He never met Paulo and Yanina but Benjamin was helpful. He said the disco next door was on for 3 consecutive nights, Thurs - Sat and was VERY noisy and he found sleeping difficult at those times.
It was nice to explore the city, but the room wasn't very comfortable especially the bed.
We couldn't Open a window so it was very hot.
The location was great and near to the river.
The room was clean and the staff was nice.
We didn't met Paolo and Yanina so it was more like a hostel.
good location, friendly people working in the car wash below the lodging, cons include no heater in room. other than that i don't see any problem. just a club next to the lodging which can be noisy but they are only opened during the weekends. good to meet other travelers there.
I stayed here for 3.5 months. Paulo and Yanina were great hosts, taking care of any request or question I had. For the price, this is great value. The Internet is reliable (when your plugged into the wall), the showers are hot, and the kitchen is spacious. The others staying with me were very friendly and knowledgable about the city. The night club is noticeable, but I slept through it. Woolworths is a 5 minute walk, so groceries are close by. Had a great time and would return!
The accommodation was very comfortable and its proximity to down town Melbourne was very convenient. If you are coming to Melbourne and budget is the influencing factor, this is the place to stay. What I liked the most is that my privacy was never invaded and the rules of the establishment won’t intrusive and over bearing. My comings and goings won’t inhibited regardless of the day or night. The hosts were very accommodating and lenient with the check-in and check-out times. This was much appreciated as I am a new immigrant at the mercy of factors out of my control.
Very good location as not far to city centre, river and train stations. Paulo and Yanina are great hosts, helpful an friendly at all times. Would definitely recommend staying here.
The place is well below average. Location is quite good, but there are no more pros. You feel inside like in the bunker. Everything is really outdated and simple. We are not so picky and enjoyed staying with all Airbnb hosts in past, but this was an exception. There were loud night club sounds as mentioned before, toilet cleaning closure for more than one hour while you really want there. Laundry is chargeable and cost more than in laundromats. Overall I had an impression of a very cheap hostel. Even though when I checked where we could stay alternatively, I found 3.5 stars hotel in CBD for the same price I paid for this stay.
For the amount we paid, the location of the place was great very central which was our top priority, very easy to get places. Other reviews have mentioned the car wash and the nightclub, personally if you're young and you're going to be out fridays and saturdays it won't be a problem because that wasn't a problem for us as we were out anyway and slept through the car washing in the morning! The room was a good size, the room we stayed in the bed was squeaky which was a little annoying but I'm sure other rooms were different. The bathroom was very "locker room" like so nothing fancy at all. The kitchen was well equipped with crockery/cutlery/utensils but if you like squeaky clean then don't get your hopes up as other guests might not be as clean as you, but it's really not that hard to check stuff before you use it. And lastly, it was my first bed n breakfast stay so the 3 star rating I gave based on that and not a hotel rating. Overall Paulo and Yanina were so friendly so that made you forget about the little things. Again, to me for the low cost it was well worth it.
Very good option for the budget traveller. Centrally located, with the nearest tram stop only 100 metres or so away. It's about a 10 minute walk to Flinders Street station. Hosts are friendly and helpful and on hand if there are any issues. Room was spacious with plenty of storage and there was ample space in the common areas. However, as is inevitable in a place with several guest rooms, it can get a little noisy with the night-time comings and goings of other guests (although everyone was considerate and kept noise down when asked).
