The Price/quality is good for this place. The house matches its description. There is a great bakery just 2 minutes away. However, it takes you about 40 minutes to get in the city centre. Besides this, we were very pleased with the place and we were picked up at the airport by Angelo!
Angelo welcomed us into his house and answered all the questions we had. He was always just a phonecall away and even arranged the taxi ride back to the airport (since we don't speak italian). The area is safe and quiet under the week (be prepared for music and chatter after midnight on the weekends). All together, we had a great stay in Angelos home. A good place to stay when in Rome.
cozy house... 10 min train ride to center of city. area had a few good restaurants and pizza places. highly recommend if you want to get out a little bit from the city to spend your nights.
The reservation was canceled 5 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Angelo was a great host. He met us at his place and showed us around. His place looks exactly like the pictures. It is about a 15 minute walk to the train station and about 20 minutes by train to central Rome. Very convenient for sight seeing. There is a nice coffeeshop next to the train station. I would recommend Angelo's place.
We were able to book Angelo's place really last minute. He spent the whole day preparing the house for us because we booked it so late and we were so grateful! He was also willing to meet us late, around 1am. When we arrived at his place we were blown away. The house is really quaint and nice, feels like a really livable modern place. The kitchen was new and the rest of the space was really clean. Angelo was a cool guy and shared a little bit about himself and even some wine! The house is also a 5/10 minute walk away from the metro station and isn't bad at all - quite safe (but we were a group of 4 so everything felt pretty safe). Also, there is a bakery near the metro station with amazing cappuccinos - we were there every morning during our stay. The supermarket has great produce and "foccacheria"/bakery. Overall, the 3 days we spent here were the best out of the week we spent in Italy. It was great to return to a real nice home in a peaceful area after a long day of visiting the city. There is a metro you need to take to get to the city center, about 15 minutes on the metro, but coming from Paris none of us minded at all. The most convenient housing we'd had throughout our stay in Italy. I'd definitely stay here again!
Comfy little house on with everything you need. Angelo is a very nice host, provided us with all the necessaries during our 5/days stay and was available for all the questions we had.
very good value for the money we paid.
it is about 10 minutes walk to the metro station and then 15 min with metro to the centre of Rome .
thank you Angelo.
