The Space

40 great reviews can't be wrong!!! :)

Experience NYC like a local in this converted storefront apartment! Perfect location to explore NYC's best neighborhood and Plenty of space to spread out. Plenty of street parking and steps from the East River and Williamsburg Bridge. You'll probably run into a movie production right outside the door!

This is a beautiful, open loft-style apartment on street level in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Beautiful sunset views of the Williasmburg Bridge and plenty of street parking- a rarity for NYC. Lovely way to spend your vacation and get a real NYC experience in a huge, spacious, comfortable apartment.

We are perfectly located to experience both Williamsburg and have an easy commute into Manhattan. 3 blocks from the East River and just of Bedford Ave. This is the REAL Williamsburg.

The apartment has a separate bedroom with queen sized tempurpedic mattress. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to have a gourmet dinner at home one evening. There is a world class butchery just doors down the street and an amazing wine shop carrying the best vintages from around the world.
Everyone who has ever stayed here falls in love with the space and neighborhood!

Williamsburg is the heart of the NYC music scene and boasts the hippest restaurants, bars, coffee shops and fashion. Close to the "L" and "J,M,Z" trains. Apt has WiFi and a computer available for use. Next door to Diner, Williamsburg Gourmet Garage, Motorino Pizza, Marlow&Sons, Briketown, Bia and The Rabbit Hole. Plenty of street parking, just be careful of alternate side restrictions.

Everyone who has ever stayed here falls in love with the space and neighborhood!

Zuzu, the cat, loves to keep you company and sweet and quiet. She doesn't even need kitten mittens!

Mi casa es su casa! Guests have access to a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of linens and towels, high speed wi-fi and a desktop computer if needed. There is plenty of street parking nearby- one of the few streets left in the neighborhood. Additionally there is a garage across the street for $10-night. We want you to enjoy yourselves and makes yourselves at home. We've had over 50 guests over the years and only rave reviews! More over, there is plenty of privacy with your own street front access to the apartment, separate from the other units! It's a classic NYC experience you can't get anywhere else. True Williamsburg!

We are here for you in whatever capacity you need. Usually, we will communicate before the rental to make sure you know how to gain access, etc. I'll ask that you contact me to let me know you've arrived. If you need anything during your stay you can contact us or our friend who serves as emergency contact when we are out of the country.

Williamsburg has been on the scene for quite some time. It is a neighborhood full of artists, dreamers, and visionaries. We've got the best restaurants in the city. The best music scene, the best drink lounges, great boutique shopping, a gorgeous waterfront scene!

Bedford Avenue is the neighborhood’s main thoroughfare, anchored by the Bedford Mini-Mall (218 Bedford Ave between North 4th and 5th Sts) with its collection of indie merchants, but shops, bars and eateries radiate out in all directions—notable openings in the past few years include Reynard in the Wythe Hotel; the innovative movie-theater-cum-restaurant Nitehawk Cinema; and seasonal epicurean extravaganza Smorgasburg in East River State Park—one of the city's best street fairs. Billyburg’s thriving music scene encompasses numerous local venues, including Music Hall of Williamsburg, Pete's Candy Store and the reincarnation of storied downtown venue the Knitting Factory.

Super convenient transportation. We are 10 minutes to the famous Bedford L train station and 5 minutes from the Marcy Ave J and M lines. We are steps from the Williamsburg Bridge pedestrian entrance and walking over the bridge is a true NYC experience. You can also experience the East River Ferry for great views of the bridges and Manhattan!

  • This apartment is a fantastic space in a great location in Williamsburg. There is a very comfortable living area, separate work space, a very well outfitted kitchen, large bedroom and plenty of space for hanging/storing all belongings. The apartment is very nicely decorated and the lovely plants are a homey touch - as is Zuzu the easygoing cat. Julia was great to work with, always staying in touch and checking on us to make sure we had what we needed. We spent a week here and definitely plan to come back. Note that there is no TV, if you care. We highly recommend Julia's place.

  • Julia was out of town, but we could reach her via email or phone if we needed, and she would always reply soon with helpful information. Everything was perfect during our time there. The apartment was just like it is in the pictures.
Although it is close to Williamsburg bridge, it is located in a very calm street, perfect to rest after a day walking around crowded streets in Manhattan.
Zuzu, the cat, is really cute! We would definitely stay there again.

  • Fantastic host, very communicative and helpful. Easy to get in and out, there and back. Zuzu is no trouble at all. I would highly recommend this apartment simply for the hassle free host and unbelievable location. A true taste of NYC in a humunguss apartment... She should be charging more!

  • I've just returned from two weeks in Julia's apartment and it has been a true home away from home. The huge apartment is homely and comfortable, in a safe and friendly neighbourhood, and Zuzu the cat is quite a character who will make you laugh and keep you company. Julia has been lovely, helpful and easily contactable since we first got in touch. I can't stress enough how amazing the location is, situated on what must be the nicest street in Williamsburg, with breakfast, lunch and dinner places on your doorstep. It's also only 1 minute from the hub of Bedford Avenue and all its bars, restaurants and markets, and only a few minutes away from the east river ferry port (my favourite way to get around) and spectacular views of Manhattan. Subway access is also very near and it's so easy to get around the city from this location. If you're looking for a true NY experience I can't think of anywhere better, thanks Julia!

  • My fiancé and I wanted to spend a much needed vacation weekend in NY. We were looking for something in Brooklyn that still allowed us to get into Manhattan easily. Julia's place was perfect! We started each day with brunch in the neighbourhood and then a walk over the Williamsburg bridge. So nice!

The flat itself is BEAUTIFUL and really comfortable. Zuzu (the cat) is adorable and so appreciative when she gets fed :) Julia was a great host -- easy to communicate with and arrangements were super simple. We'd love to stay here again.

  • It was a absolute pleasure staying in Julia's apartment for the weekend. It was wonderfully spacious and very well located for Williamsburg and South Manhattan. The addition of Zuzu (the cat) was a lovely bonus for us as cat lovers. Very much recommended!
