I felt welcome in Jeanne's home right away! Jeanne offered pointers on how to get places that I was interested in, which was extremely helpful. Jeanne lives in a pretty and quiet neighbourhood, near to several restaurants as well as local transit. It was a great first experience with airbnb!
Jeanne had a perfectly kept room...even though she had guests that checked out that morning. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. We had a great conversation about our team (go Giants) and about some basic expectations when we arrived. But she left the interaction level up to us. Since we were there with a tight schedule we didnt have too much extra time on our hands, but we would have loved to find more opportunities for conversation. We certainly didnt expect breakfast, but Jeanne was gracious enough to offer us something to eat every morning we were there. Her house is beautiful, full of history and old SF feel and the neighborhood cant be beat. We had lunch at Bullshead just down the street and hung out at a local bar after dark. Muni is literally a five minute walk and takes only about 10 mins to get downtown. We would absolutely stay here again if Jeanne would have us.
Very nice house in a charming area. The bedroom was confortable and clean, we had our own private bathroom. Very easy to find public transportation (bus, subway) 10 minutes walk from the house. We parked our car in the driveway, very convinient. Jeanne was very nice, she gave us tips about what to visit in the golden gate park. The breakfast was good. I highly recommend this airbnb!
Jeanne was a lovely host. She was very flexible re: our check in time. It was much appreciated and allowed us to take our time on the scenic drive to San Francisco. Jeanne was very helpful with giving us tips and allowing us to store our bags prior to leaving for the airport. Her homemade scones were delicious! It was very nice of her to prepare us a breakfast. We had a great time in San Francisco and Jeanne's hospitality was much appreciated:-)
Jeanne's home was the perfect spot for our stay in SF. The room was clean, comfortable and cozy and I really enjoyed the porch overlooking the garden. The proximity of Jeanne's home to the MUNI station was also a huge plus and we were able to park our car for free on the street in front of her house. In addition, Jeanne was a gracious and helpful host. Upon our arrival she welcomed us and offered some suggestions on places to grab a bite. She also asked about the sights and activites we were interested in exploring during our stay in the city and was nice enough to leave us detailed written instructions on how to get around and what to see in certain areas. On our morning of departure Jeanne set out breakfast which included tea/coffee, orange juice, fruit and some homemade scones. It was a light meal but we enjoyed it and the handmade scones were a nice touch. All in all we had a great experience and we'd happily stay here again on our next visit to the city!
Jeanne was the perfect host! I arrived a little later than anticipated however was warmly greeted and was provided a light introduction to the town. We were shown to our guest spaces and also had a small chat about life. The next morning she had served us a nice breakfast before our day started, and left us directions for our travels. I found her a very sweet host! Will definitely recommend to an airbnb user! Thank you Jeanne for the convenience!

I love living in San Francisco and take advantage of all that it has to offer: symphony, opera, ballet, modern dance, world class art museums, the Giants, theatre, jazz, proximity to the wine country, beaches, I would love to show off my city to you from an insider's point of view. I like to cook, especially pasta. I enjoy exercising - cardio-kickboxing, ballet tone, and aerobics keep me in shape so I can enjoy the many cuisines my city has to offer! I enjoy hiking, and music. I play recreational piano so if there is a song you want to hear and I have the music, I'll play it for you as long as you promise to sing along. I love to travel and hear your travel stories. I speak several languages, none fluently but enough to get around. I have lived for a year each in Austria and Italy, and have traveled extensively in Europe. For over 30 years I held various public and social service management positions but am currenly retired and volunteer in the community.
