Jeanne is a great host ! We enjoyed staying in her wonderful home. Everything we needed was there. Even information about San Francisco and the transportation (which is great too).
Thank you !
Jeanne is a great hostess!
We truly enjoyed our stay in West Portal...accommodations were exactly as advertised - nice.
We think best part of our stay was breakfast with Jeanne - and her brilliant direction and helpful planning of our daily adventures!
Her nice little dog Pey Pey was a bonus too :)
True to all the reviews on Jeanne's home, she's a fantastic host, has a beautiful, well-kept home and is a wealth of information on San Francisco and places to visit and see. She lives in an area of San Francisco called West Portal, which is stunning. Gorgeous homes, lush yards, a variety of places to eat AND her home is just up a couple of blocks from the Muni! So getting to and from the downtown/Fisherman's Warf area was a breeze.
The room Jeanne rents out on AirBnB is on her bottom level, with its own private entrance. So for those who like to come and go as they please but still feel at home, this house is for you. Bathroom is nice and clean with a spa shower, the bedroom itself is cozy and welcoming...and the best part of all is that Jeanne kindly prepares a breakfast spread every morning. AND she has an adorable rescue dog named Pei Pei who is just cute as buttons.
We loved staying here, and would absolutely recommend Jeanne's house for anyone travelling to San Francisco! Great location, wonderful host, beautiful home.
Quartier bien desservi par les metros, accès au centre ville en 15-20minutes. Quartier calme, hote très sympathique avec qui nous avons bien échangé et qui nous a bien guidé dans San Francisco.
Jeanne's home was in a wonderful location and we were able to walk to restaurants and coffee shops. Her home was good for a weekend getaway in SF. Jeanne also makes the time and effort to provide a light breakfast.
Jeanne is a great host!!! Guys staying here has been a very nice experience, the house is very clean and the neighborhood is quite and well connected to downtown by public transport!
About the Host, Jeanne
I love living in San Francisco and take advantage of all that it has to offer: symphony, opera, ballet, modern dance, world class art museums, the Giants, theatre, jazz, proximity to the wine country, beaches, I would love to show off my city to you from an insider's point of view. I like to cook, especially pasta. I enjoy exercising - cardio-kickboxing, ballet tone, and aerobics keep me in shape so I can enjoy the many cuisines my city has to offer! I enjoy hiking, and music. I play recreational piano so if there is a song you want to hear and I have the music, I'll play it for you as long as you promise to sing along. I love to travel and hear your travel stories. I speak several languages, none fluently but enough to get around. I have lived for a year each in Austria and Italy, and have traveled extensively in Europe. For over 30 years I held various public and social service management positions but am currenly retired and volunteer in the community.
