The apartment is a very modern development near the home of the world famous footballing club Arsenal. It is a very accessible location as it is a 2 minute walk to Holloway Road train station which is on the Piccadilly Line. The station does fortunately have a lift so the embarrassing journey carrying your suitcase up tube station stairs is no more. The apartment has it's own kitchenette with kitchenware such as a microwave, kettle, mini-oven and a fridge with condiments such as pots and pans and cutlery. There is also the standard bathroom with a washing machine and a dryer. Groceries will never be far as there are many local shops like Tesco, local off-licences, cafes and boutique shops. Upper Street is around the corner and this is where you will find the commercials above.
When here in London, a trendy place to visit nearby the apartment is Stoke Newington. It is a very upbeat, trendy neighborhood with many little cafes, grand restaurants and boutique shops complete with a big park to have a stroll or a read in the sun (of course if you come in Summer). if you want to rent for long let , please semd me massage, we can discus the rate.
Though this is not our best memory in my journey, but Maggie is always helpful to solve any problem we have.
This room is really close to Arsenal stadium, which is good to Arsenal fans. And it's close to tube station, tesco and some other stores, it's really makes journey easier!
Addendum to my previous review. Though the pictures aren't exactly accurate, they seem to be of another unit in the same building. They don't make the place seem any larger or really misleading.
Great location for an Arsenal supporter. Easy access to everything in London. Maggie was very helpful and very flexible with checkin g in and out and also very helpful with any needs. Would certainly stay there again if in the UK.
The pictures of the room on the advert are wrong. There is nothing modern about this development as advertised. The room looks quite different in person. The description says separate shower and washing machine. There was only a shower cubicle in the room itself, no washing machine. Simple things as a kettle was not provided, when I asked Maggie for one she told me to go and buy a kettle. I had booked the room for 10 days and when I requested to reduce my stay by a night, she refused to refund me even though I had given her more than the stipulated 24 hour notice. At the time of making the booking, her cancellation policy was 'flexible', but after I requested to alter my reservation, she immediately changed this to 'strict'. All in all probably my worst experience ever. I would never book from this person again!!
