Interaction with Guests
I or one of my friends will be present at check in to show you the house. For any need you can contact us by mail or by phone.
The area of Aurelio and San Pietro is rich in history and monuments.
Has in itself the Vatican which is the more 'small state in the world.
Via della Conciliazione, connects the Tiber and Castle Sant'Angelo to St. Peter's Square and its basilica.
This space represents the old "village" (now called Borgo Pio) neighborhood that gunfire with the works of Mussolini to create Via della Conciliazione.
With a walk on foot you can reach the Gianicolo, a hill which offers one of the most beautiful views of the historic center of Rome. From there you can 'take a staircase that leads to the heart of Trastevere.
There are two metro stations nearby: Ottaviano and Cipro.
The terminal of the bus 64 is at 100 meters from home and with this bus you can go to the whole city center.
In addition in 3 minutes with foot to reach the St. Peter's train stop to go to Trastevere and Ostiense.
Other Things to Note
Nearby there are bars, restaurants, supermarkets, pubs, pizzerias, pharmacies, banks, a shop where you can rent a bicycle, 3 garage where you can leave your car and everything you'll ever need!
Guests are asked to respect the neighbors and the house. It is also pleasing that do not leave the kitchen dirty.
Location was great with view of Vatican. Apartment was clean and spacious. Good Wi-fi. Water for shower was very weak with hot/cold issues. No shampoo/soap so bring your own. Mattress was very hard. Close to train and was quite noisy.
I stayed at Zenzero & Cannella for 3 nights with my father and had an excellent time. The flat is very clean, spacious and comfortable.
Communication online with Pamela was good. We didn't meet her in person when we got the keys, but were greeted by two of her colleagues. Not at all an issue as they were very welcoming.
One only small issue was the hot water in the shower. When you turned the handle to lower the temperature the flash heater would turn off and the water would go cold. We didn't inform our hosts because it wasn't that big of a deal, but a future guest may want to mention it before coming if they are picky about having a good shower experience :).
All in all a great experience. I highly recommend this flat to anyone and would definitely return!
We had a nice stay in Rome. Pamela's father and friend made the check in process very smooth. The apartment was in a convenient location near the Vatican. The rooms were spacious, internet worked well. The noise from the road was loud late at night and early in the morning from delivery trucks. It didn't bother us most times as we were up late and early but would not be welcome for travelers who want to sleep in. Overall we enjoyed our stay
We've stayed for 3 nights.
The hospitality was very welcoming and cosy.
It's a walk distance from the Vatican.
Special thanks to Emiliano for his kindness :)
WE WILL COME BACK to this apartment next time we're in Rome!
The four of us had a great stay at the flat over a long weekend in Rome. Gorgeous views of St Peter's and easy to get around Rome from here. Check-in was on-time, and all communication went smoothly.
Only request is for more comfy seating in the living room. The four-person table is great for eating, but it's harder to relax when two are sitting at the table and two are on the sofa.
The appartment was very nice and cozy, spacious bedrooms with large comfortable beds. The position is perfect, you can reach all the famous places in 15 min on foot. I would definitely recommend it for otherts! Grazie, Pamela!
Pamela is a fantastic host, perfect communication. Pamela's friend Massimiliano and her father welcomed us very warmheartedly. The apartment is great, especially the view of St. Peter's. It's really perfectly situated so close to the Vatican and all the other attractions. Highly recommendable.
I was born in Rome, grow up with a passion for theater, I graduated as an actress and I also dedicate to directing and dramaturgy. Study singing and I'm part of several musical groups.
In 1978, shortly after they were married, my parents bought this apartment that my father used as painting studio for many years. After more than thirty years, I decided to renovate it and turn it into a beautiful vacation home.
For those who come to Rome only for work, who have never been there and don't know what they are missing, for those who stay only a few nights and must run away, for those who know her well and cannot abandon her, for people leike me who love and hate her, but can't live without her: WELCOME! Our home is your home, take care of it as it will take care of you.
