ADVENTURE AWAITS!! Welcome to Misty Morrow - a cozy riverfront cabin nestled on the Sol Duc River. Whether you’re planning to fish, hunt, boat, hike, ski, soak in the Sol Duc hot springs (seasonal), or snuggle under a blanket and watch elk spar and deer play, this tiny cabin is sure to cut the mustard. Enjoy the misty mountain wall mural, warm your hands by the fire, and recharge in nature.

The space
Our little cabin was meticulously designed with visitors in mind. We are so excited to share this special place that will allow you to reconnect with nature. Sometimes when I sit on our deck by the fire pit, the stars feel close enough to touch.

Standing proud at a modest 350 square feet, Misty Morrow has 2 beds in 1 bedroom (1 queen and 1 twin). The bedroom is simple, but oh-so-comfy. The tiny kitchenette includes a microwave, full fridge and freezer, double burner glass top stove for cooking, toaster, sink, dishes, silverware, and glasses, as well as French press and drip coffee options for early misty mornings before heading out onto the water.

The location can’t be beat. You’re at the heart of it all, in the Olympic Peninsula, miles and miles from the big city. The cabin itself is located on the Sol Duc River, and you’re less than 15 minutes to Sol Duc Hot Springs, Lake Crescent (the ONLY place in the world to catch Beardslee and Crescenti Cutthroat trout), Olympic National Park, and the quaint town of Forks (of Twilight fame). Hoh rainforest and LaPush beaches are a short drive away, and you don’t have to leave your backyard for a chance to see much of the wildlife the peninsula has to offer, including elk, deer, coyote, owls, hawks, bald eagles, and even an occasional bobcat.

PEREGRINE PINES CABIN
A large cabin on the property is also available for rent @peregrinepines. If your group doesn’t rent it out as well, you may have neighbors during your stay. Please message me if you'd like to book the large cabin as well and can't find the listing.

PETS
We love furry friends and are happy to welcome up to two dogs for a pet fee of $50. If you are bringing more than two dogs, please message me to arrange additional payment ($25 each). Your pet fee must be paid in full 24 hours prior to your check in date or we reserve the right to cancel your stay with no refund. Please note - pets are not allowed in most National Parks in the area; please plan your visit accordingly.

EARLY CHECK IN/LATE CHECK OUT
Early check in and late check out must be considered on a case by case basis and are always almost approved when possible. You must obtain written approval from us approving either early check in or late check out.

QUIET HOURS
Quiet hours are 10pm - 8am. If there is excessive noise or disturbances to our neighbors during these hours, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your stay with no refund.

SOL DUC RIVER
Our cabin is riverfront, but there is no direct access to the river (steep bank). We do not recommend guests attempt to access the river from our property. If you enter the river from our property, it is at your own risk.

FISH/GAME
We love and respect our fellow hunters and fishers, but absolutely no game or fish cleaning allowed inside the cabin. There is an outdoor covered fish cleaning sink on the property, but is primarily for guests staying at the larger cabin. If you would like to use this sink, please message me and I will confirm your request with guests staying at the larger cabin. Please do not clean other wild game in this sink. Thank you for your cooperation!

SHARED SPACES
The parking lot and everything next to the river (table and firepit) are shared with guests from the larger cabin.

ROAD NOISE
Please be aware that the cabin is located directly on Highway 101. You will hear road noise during your stay. Usually the road noise dies down in the early evenings as it gets darker. Forks (15m to the west) is the logging capital of the world, which means big logging trucks drive through our stretch of highway. On weekday mornings, these loggers begin their routes around 2am. Although most guests don’t mind the road noise, we do provide noise machines and ear plugs in every bedroom for your convenience.

PARKING
There is enough parking for two cars, please let us know if you plan to bring more as we can typically make this work.

BURN BAN
A burn ban is in effect July 1st - October 1st. Please do not use our fire pits during this time.

SMOKING
Absolutely no smoking in the cabin will be permitted.

LIABILITY
This rental is privately owned and the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premise. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

Hello, I’m Heather! My husband and I are San Diego natives who have lived in every quadrant of the country. He’s a pilot and I’m a genetic counselor. I’m a big fan of fancy chocolate, camping, running, luxury hospitality experiences, indie music, travel, and the Green Bay Packers. We’ve been to more countries than we have states, and our favorite place is……. well, it’s a tie between Kyoto, Japan and Boothbay Harbor, Maine. We can’t wait to host you and yours! Go Pack Go!
