Private and pet friendly and less than a mile to the Nisqually entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park. Quaint and quiet cabins (and yurts!) are well off the highway tucked privately under a canopy of fir and cedar with enough sun for lounging after a hike. The two cabins are about 125' apart and share a hot tub. The yurts are 150' apart and each have their own hot tubs. All are situated on 6.6 acres with plenty of room for parking, bonfires, or a walk to Wildberry restaurant for a burger, pie, or Nepalese food! Come back and relax by your own fire pit as each unit has their own outside area! Cabins fully remodeled in the summer of 2019 and the yurts are new summer of 2020/21. Mini split heat pumps provide primary heating/cooling with backup propane heat in the cabins and wood stove in the yurt. Kitchenette with range, microwave, fridge, freezer, pots, pans, toaster oven, and coffee grinder with french press, and bbq. All have memory foam mattresses, down comforters, and mattress heaters in winter. The yurt has a private hot tub. Cabins and yurt require 4 steps for entry and then are a single level inside.
We are pet friendly, but we do require a $35 pet fee for each of our cabins and yurts. You must include that you are bringing a pet at time of booking.
Please contact us prior to booking for any special needs we can help try and accommodate.
Top of the line 24' Pacific yurt with all the amenities to take the 'camp' out of camping. NOW with StarLink Internet along with a GoalZero battery backup (and generator behind that) meaning serious work grade internet available with or without grid power. The yurt has plenty of space for 2, and can accommodate a small family member on a fold away cot as well. The yurt has a full indoor bathroom, kitchen, dining room table with 4 chairs, pots, pans, utensils, fridge/freezer, microwave, wood stove, and a mini split HVAC system for energy efficient electric heating and air conditioning. Oh, and don't forget about the provided dark roast coffee, grinder, and, french press, as well as the heated hybrid memory foam and latex mattress with down comforter and mattress heater where you can fall asleep looking thru the 5' yurt dome at the stars...or snowflakes, but more than likely some rain..:)

The space
*Please make sure your booking includes all travels and pets for accurate pricing, accommodations, and space.

Inside the Yurt you will find a wood stove, to keep cozy during the winter months, an opening dome for fresh air circulation and a mini-split HVAC that provides electric heat as well as A/C. Amazon Firestick TV with Netflix, Prime and more (please don't forget to sign out of your account when you leave). Starlink internet with battery backup to keep it all running.

The kitchenette is stocked with sufficient equipment to cook your own meals. Pots and pans, microwave, 2 burner propane range, toaster, utensils, tea kettle, coffee grinder, French press, and basic spices complete the kitchenette area for indoor cooking. There is a dining room table with 4 chairs that can easily convert into an office space.

The Yurt offers a queen bed located in a bedroom. On the bed you will find 100% cotton sheets, down comforter and a heated pad. A separate bathroom with bathroom amenities (towels, shampoo, etc.).

There is a SOLO stove for campfires in a private courtyard with old growth picnic table and Alaska yellow cedar Adirondack chairs, all made here.

We are dog/cat friendly and charge a $35 fee for your pets, and we kindly ask to not have your pets on the furniture. We provide bowls and a pet towel to use during your stay as well as potty bags. Please ensure you clean up after your pets inside and out of the home.

We are on community water and a septic. So only natural waste and toilet paper can be flushed. Fixing a septic clog is a minimum of $350 charge, so please remember to abide by these rules! You will lose your security deposit and be charged the difference if other articles are flushed.

We have a tankless water heater for on demand hot water.

By booking with us you waive all liability for personal injury and property loss. There are small steps around the cabins, please exercise caution. Injuries are no fun for anyone and we want you to do nothing but enjoy your stay! We would love for you to leave with a smile on your face!

Walking distance to Wildberry restaurant (open seasonally). This 6.6 acre property is classified as river front, however the river has changed course. What remains is a beautiful 1/2 mile walk thru the forest to the Nisqually River. I can't state this enough and it's the main reason I purchased the property. The forrest bordering the National Park is a wildlife persons dream. Sit on the cedar bench my child and I made and enjoy the scenic views and know your the only one around for at least 1/2 mile in any direction.
