The space
Step into this enchanted downtown 1836 Storybook cottage for a refined cottagecore experience with a bit of magic. From the whimsical décor, heritage antiques and playful details, to the sun-drenched rooms, every corner of this historic home invites you to relax and stay awhile.

A frequent choice for mid-term stays, a 12-month discount is available!

Whip up any meal in a kitchen that blends 1940s charm with modern efficiency. We’ve provided everything you need for a slow morning: a drip pot, pod coffee maker, tea kettle, and many of the essentials (coffee, sugar, creamer, tea, honey). Whether you’re cooking a full meal or brewing a cup of tea, the wares are provided with ample space and vintage flair to enjoy.

When it's time to rest and refresh, follow the staircase to the second floor where three peaceful bedrooms await. The Queen Suite: A regal retreat for two. The Full Room: Cozy and inviting. The Daybed: Features a twin trundle perfect for flexible sleeping arrangements or comfort seating in the multipurpose room. Each room is thoughtfully outfitted with oversized linens, pillows, dressers, and mirrors.

The full bathroom upstairs is stocked with linens and starter soaps for your convenience. The second full bathroom is in the basement - reminiscent of its 100+ years of history and is now commonly referred to as a Pittsburgh Potty in historical homes. The basement also holds the washer and dryer, and is otherwise an unfinished space.

While the home is historic, your stay doesn’t have to be! Charmed eclecticism combines modern magic of connectivity for you to enjoy high-speed WiFi, Roku TV, DVD player for movie nights, charging station, and a bluetooth speaker for your playlists.

The fully fenced backyard will embrace you. Spend your evenings around the fire-pit (firewood available for purchase), share a conversation at the outdoor table, or retreat to the screened back porch and enjoy your own gentle rhythm on the porch swing.

For awesome pet-people, we love responsible pet owners! One well-behaved dog is welcome to join the adventure. Not to detract from the next guests' experience, we ask that furry guests stay off the furniture and leave no trace (in or outside). The Oak Hill Dog Park is a short 3-minute walk (0.1 mile) down Central Ave when you need to burn off extra energy or make new friends.

Free parking is available for 3 vehicles (2 in the driveway, 1 on the street). Please help us stay good neighbors by keeping the sidewalk clear.

Keyless entry is located at the driveway side door for a seamless check-in.

Here, you're truly in the heart of it all. Enjoy an easy walk to downtown Oak Hill shops, cafes, parks, and events, or take a short drive to the New River Gorge National Park and ACE Adventure Resort!
