About This Listing
Our cosy and comfortable apartment is located in the nicest area of Nørrebro, next to the two major parks and Jægersbrogade (the best place to eat and shop). A 5 minute busride away from the centre, and with private balcony and a nice garden.
A view into the open kitchen. If you need to kick back after a long day of exploring the city we have a tv and xbox at your disposal.
A big open kitchen and living room - well equipped with bathroom, toilet, sofa, cable tv, internet, stereo, a new dishwasher and a washing machine is available in the basement. There is one bedroom with a queen-size bed. In the living room we have a wonderful sleeping couch and the possibility to use a big comfy air-bed if you are more than two. The apartment is 62 m2 with a balcony 6m2 and a private garden and parking place.
From the living room you can acces the balcony overlooking Assistens Kirkegård, a great place to hang out and find some of the famous Danes buried (Søren Kirkegaard, Hans Christian Andersen, etc.) Or you can go down two stairs and enjoy our beautiful garden. If you come by car you will have a parking space to your disposal.
The apartment is located in Norrebro, in walking distance from lively streets like elmegade, jægersborggade and last but not least the famous lakes. Within a 10 minute bikeride or a five minute busride you are in the center of the city or Vesterbro - and your first Copenhagen coffee is on us at our favourite local cafe Bodega (a minute walk through the park Assistens Kirkegård). You can easily (within 30 minutes) get to all the tourist attractions like The Little Mermaid, The Tivoli Gardens, the Canal Tours, Nyhavn (New Haven), Christiania (the free town), The Opera House, The Royal Theatre, Christiansborg, Amalienborg, restaurant NOMA (the world's best restaurant), Grundtvigskirken and more. The beach Amager Strandpark can be reached with metro, bike or car.
We love our apartment and are looking for responsible guests who can take care of our place aka. no parties or smoking :-)
Looking forward to have you over!
Our home is your home.
Interaction with Guests
We can help with any questions and preparation, as well as shop for any groceries you might want to have ready at arrival (costs will be incurred to the guest).
The best parks of Nørrebro, five minutes from the lakes, one minute from the hippest shopping street, and load of opportunities to go out and eat within a ten minute walk. We have a balcony to kick it back after exploring the city and a cheap bike rental at a minutes walk from our house.
We'd recommend you to rent bikes as the city is small and it is the Copenhagen way of getting around but there is a busstop one minute away that connects you with Vesterbro, or the center.
You can't smoke in our appartment, but feel free to use the balcony to do so. We love cooking and you should feel free to use our kitchen including all products (herbs, pasta, vegetables, etc.) to do so yourself. Same goes for any Copenhagen inspired creative sessions on our desk (go crazy with our pens) and our tv and game-console (just don't overwrite Nicky's saved games). In short, please make yourself at home. For short stays (under 3 days) we clear out only part of our closet space which should be enough for you to leave and organize your belongings. Lastly, we would love for longer stays (over 3 days) to give our plants some water. And last no parties. Enjoy our apartment!
Kitchen with microwave, oven, dishwasher - feel free to use our oils, fresh herbs and other foodstuff.
Nicky and Maria were great hosts. They met us as the door, had very helpful information, and were quick to answer any questions we might have. The neighborhood is lively, fairly close to the city center, and has great food and drink. I would recommend a stay with Nicky and Maria.
This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay in Copenhagen and Nicky and Maria were excellent hosts.
Their apartment is the perfect location in Norrebro, one of the city's hippest neighborhoods. It's a charming flat that matches the pictures. I was there solo, but it'd be great for a couple as well. The area is bustling. Along nearby Jaeggersborggade you have a ton of shops and restaurants. I recommend coffee at Coffee Collective, beers at Mikkeller & Friends, and dinner at Manfreds.
Nicky and Maria were super attentive to any needs. I had one issue with a blown fuse (don't forget your power converters, folks!) And they went above and beyond to fix the issue. They also have wonderful next door neighbors.
I could not recommend this place or these hosts more highly. Thanks again Nicky & Maria!
The trip was great! Great location and hospitable host! Nicky was great and I had a lovely time in the beautiful city of Copenhagen !
We had an amazing time staying at Nicky and Maria's apartment. It's in a great location, in a very cool part of the city. Round the corner there are lots of great bars, restaurants and antique shops. It was a shame that lots of places were closed because of New Year but we are already thinking about returning. Nicky is a kind and welcoming host, with great communication throughout. You won't be disappointed!
We had a great long weekend at Nicky and Maria's apartment. Firstly, the communication was great from the time of booking right up to our arrival and Nicky was very flexible in terms of check in time (and check out time for that matter).
The apartment is great and pretty much exactly as described in the listing. It is really well located very near good bars, restaurants and shops in Norrebro. Nicky and Maria left recommendations on where to eat / drink etc in the apartment. Central Copenhagen is just a very short cycle ride away (There are also loads of public transport links to the centre).
All in all, I cant recommend this apartment highly enough. I would happily stay here again. Thanks Nicky and Maria
Myself and two friends stayed in Nicky's apartment for three nights and loved it! Nicky and Maria were wonderful hosts, very welcoming and helpful with lots of suggestions of things to do. The apartment was just like in the pictures, quirky, clean, modern and homely. Norrebro is the perfect place to explore the city from, the area has lots of bars and cafe's and is in easy walking distance of the centre. One of the best Airbnb's I've stayed in. Thanks Nicky and Maria!
Great, interesting and practical location in a great city. All arrangements went really smoothly and the apartment met all our needs. The balcony and the pantry items were a real bonus too! Nicky and Maria provided great tips and suggestions which added to our enjoyment of our stay. We found the main bed a little small but really weren't disappointed with with anything.
