  • We had a great time here.
Trevignano is a lovely village, Alessandro provided us with lots of useful information about things to do and places to see, restaurants to visit, and even itiniraries for visiting Rome.
His dad, Vincenzo, very kindly met us and told us all we needed to know.
We really liked the appartment, it is just like you see in the pictures, and contained everything we needed, including books to read.
The location is very good. Although only a few meters away from the terrace on the little square - which is great for breakfast and a lovely cappuccino - , the lake, the shops..., it is still pretty quiet.
The street is beautiful. It's narrow, no cars, lots of plants, small side streets going to the lake.
We particularly liked the little bench under our bedroom window, where the local people meet. Such a pleasure, listening to them talking Italian...
    Highly recommended!

  • We were met by Alessandro's lovely dad Vincenzo, who showed us the apartment . The apartment is everything that the pictures promise, lots of room and very clean , with lots of character. It's location is absolutely gorgeous, right in the centre of the extremely picturesque town of Trevignano and only a stones throw away from the lake. We loved it there, and for a couple of days felt like a local. The apartment is very central to lots of beautiful drives and little towns to visit, and we can certainly highly recommend this place.
Thanks Vincenzo, for making us feel so welcome!

  • Trevignano is a gem! This flat is just off the little town square, which is full of action day and night... we felt like we really were getting the "Italian" experience. Allessandro was the ultimate host - meeting us in a downpour, and helping us with the luggage. The flat is adorable and just as pictured. Plenty of room for our family of four. The kitchen area and table are roomy - but we NEVER cooked, as there are amazing cafes and restaurants within a 1 minute walk. The lake was so beautiful, that we spent 2 full days there instead of touring - if you walk 10 minutes from flat the beach gets wider and you can rent chairs for the day. Getting to ROME was easy - we drove to train so parking and driving in the city would not be challenging. Overall a wonderful experience!

  • The flat is fantastically located in the old city center and in walking distance of the beaches on the lake. Alessandro and his parents are excellent hosts. The flat itself is nicely furnished and the kitchen etc fully equipped. Not that one needs to cook: there are great restaurants in the neighbourhood and a dangerously delicious ice cream, coffee, cake cafe, Ermete. To be recommended!

  • I could not recommend Alessabdro's place enough. It was a great location, well equipped and his farther (Vincent) looked after us exceptionally well. From the flat we were able to get into Rome really easily, and the area was fantastic for cycling. If i can, i'll certainly be visiting again.

  • Amazing! This flat definitely lives up to its description, and the village is a must see and experience. My brother and I were in town for a wedding, and wanted something close to the small city center area. The location was perfect, and we felt like locals. It is within thirty meters from the lake, the town cafe, and numerous restaurants. A ten minute walk up the hill and you'll be over-looking the lake in the midst of 12th century castle ruins. Full of history, romance and imagination.

The flat was neat and clean, with all the amenities. Alessandro's father met us at the apartment to give us the keys when we arrived and showed us around. Everything was as described, and made us feel, again, like locals.

Alessandro was an incredible host. He responded to emails almost immediately, and was in top of everything, excited to share his gem.
He offered a great list of things to do in Trevigano and Lake Bracciano with thorough descriptions. He even included two separate itineraries of places to see between Florence and Trevignano. Not a simple list, but in-depth descriptions with links to pictures and articles about the cities with personal recommendations. It was like having a personal travel consultant- better than any travel book.

Trevignano needs to be on your itinerary if you are near Rome, or traveling in Tuscany/Umbria. Alessandro and his flat on the shores of Lake Bracciano will not disappoint you!

  • Very pleasant apartment in a great little town. I would recommend this apartment to just about anyone.

About
I am an easy-going person who loves travelling and meeting new people. I enjoy playing any kind of sport and living at direct contact with nature. I am an happy father of two young boys who keep myself and my wife busy at all times. I have been living in foreign countries for a few years now but I obviously still have Italy in my heart. To come and stay in my flat will give you the opportunity to live for a few days in a marvellous small village. Trevignano it's a real gem! It is located within walking distance to the lovely Lake Bracciano where you can relax escaping from your everyday routine but still just half an hour driving from Rome. I can give you a lot of tips in terms of things to do, places to visit, restaurant to go eat real Italian food (where the locals go...). After all, Lazio is not all about Rome. There are plenty of nice places to visit in this area. I have mentioned already the castle of Bracciano (which lately hosted lots of Hollywood stars' wedding - e.g. Tom Cruise - Mena Suvari), the wonderful Borgo in Trevignano but just to highlight a few more I would also recommend visiting the medieval city of Viterbo, the fascinating village of Calcata, the charming Borgo in Anguillara Sabazia or the small lake Martignano (located absolutely in the middle of nowhere). Well....I guess I'll be waiting to hearing from you soon. Any questions just shoot me a line and I'll be happy to assist you to the best of my knowledge. Ciao e a presto! Alessandro
