The space

Bright and budget single bedroom in apartment of three rooms. Views to interior patio. Single bed of 0,90m. Electric heating and pretty fresh apartment in summer.

Located in Alameda and Mestalla neighbourhood, next to the Valencia football club stadium, and near to downtown. One block to Turia Gardens, the longuest urban park in Europe located in the old river bed, and nearby Royal Gardens, the most ancient in the city, where you can visit the ruins of the medieval Royal Palace.

Two minutes walking to Alameda metro station with direct link to Airport and main train stations (North and Joaquín Sorolla), lines 3 red and 5 green. Besides there are lots of bus lines in both sides of the riverbed, take bus 95 to go to the City of Arts and Sciences (or 25 minutes walk) or bus 32 to go to Malvarrosa Beach (or 45 minutes walk), one of the top ten most beautiful city beaches in the world for Lonley Planet. Bus 25 takes you to Albufera Lake and El Saler beach.

In our street there is bike path and a Valenbisi station to rent a public bike. We highly recomend that you buy a week pass with which you can make trips of 30 minutes (you can check the bike in and out to keep it longer with no extra charges). If you take a bike you can easily get to the beach or visit the entire city from west to east along the old riverbed, to ride a bike under the medieval bridges is a unique experience.

Do not hesitate to ask for availability, because we rent either the entire apartment or each bedroom. So the bedroom may seem available, and posibly but unprobably the apartment is rented.

Walking distances:
2 minutes to supermarket Mercadona
2 min. to Turia Gardens and Royal Gardens
5 min. to Mestalla Stadium
18 min. to Cathedral
21 min. to Barrio del Carmen (downtown)
30 min. to City of Arts and Sciences

You can enjoy the island kitchen, the white leather chaiselongue sofa, the 40 inches led TV (most of the shows and movies can be changed to English with the remote control).

Guest access

You can use the kitchen in the Spanish time shifts: breakfast (9am), lunch (2pm), dinner (9pm). We have a Nespresso coffee machine. We also have an iRobot Roomba vacuum cleaner working daily.

Interaction with guests

We live and work in this home. You'll share our home with us.

The neighborhood

Our hood is a safe are with some fancy restaurants in Alameda boulevard.

Getting around

We recommend to take the metro to go to the Airport, main train stations and the beach (keep the 1€ cardboard card to re-fill it). Bus 25 takes you to Albufera lake (birthplace of Paella, national dish). Bus 95 takes you to City of Arts and Sciences. Bus 1 takes you to Central Bus Station.

If your next Spanish stop is Granada we recommend to book a seat on Blablacar, because trains and busses are overpriced and slower than a carshare.

We started sharing our place with foreign people and we loved it. We used Airbnb for the first time as guests in our trip to NYC and it was a great experience. We won a Airbnb host golden pineapple award in 2015 for the experience we lived after being hired as wedding photographers by a couple of American guests.
