A great place to crash while in Los Angeles. The rooms are basic but everyone was friendly and the area is safe. Make sure to read Ryan's instructions so you know what will be provided. Thanks again!
It's okay. Nice room but a little dusty. Near bus station and restaurants and stuff.
Check in was a bit chaotic however was sorted out soonest possible.
Kelly was friendly and lots of information were given to me.
Quite a good place to stay and is value for money.
Great stay, awesome location near the metro station and buses. Room had everything I needed. Spent most of the time outside exploring the city but it was a great place to come back and relax at. Thanks Ryan and Kelly.
My stay with Ryan at his Airbnb was frantastic - clean rooms, quiet neighbourhood and great location-close to Wiltshire/Vermont Metro line.
I have not hesitation in recommending this accommodation to fellow travellers.
great location!near metro station and quite neighborhood !!!Kelly is a very nice person, she answers my questions with great patience.but the washing machine looks a little dirty, except this ,i think it's a great place to stay!!!!!!!!
The location was great, very close to the subway and the rapid bus. The neigborhood was nice and calm.
The room size was good, the price okay.
BUT it was really dirty. Not only my romm, the bathroom was dirty too.
Because of having not enough time I didn't complain about it.
I hope it was just an exception.
great place great price
This is one of the best offers in Los Angeles. The house is located next to the subway and rapid bus. I'm getting to Santa Monica and Venice for 1.5 hours, to Hollywood and downtown in 20 minutes. The house has everything you need without the frills. Kelly will also help! The area is considered quite calm.
My friend and I stayed in a spacious room downstairs for 2 nights in mid-September, which easily accommodated 2 people and had ample space for all of our belongings. The room was super clean and the fan was sufficient to keep cool on warm nights. We had use of the spacious and clean kitchen just outside of the room, which was great. There were 2 bathrooms directly opposite our room which was brilliant, both clean and one very spacious.
We came back a few days later and stayed in an alright room upstairs. It was much smaller and more cramped than the first and the fan was incredibly loud (but necessary to have on at night anyway as it was warm). Another kitchen outside the room which was great, as per the one downstairs. Again, 2 bathrooms opposite our bedroom; although the larger of the two had an awful shower that could do with being replaced! Used the cheap and fast laundry facilities too, which were good.
This place is good value and we were able to make a quick booking right at the last minute.
The best thing about this place is location; just 2 blocks away from Wilshire/Vermont intersection where you can get MetroRail trains all over LA, as well as super frequent MetroRapid buses (although this is Los Angeles so be aware that when carless, you spend a long, long time traveling from one place to another!)!
Be sure to ask Kelly (the host and manager of the building) when she will be home (and able to let you in) as we spent a few hours sat outside the gate upon our arrival in the middle of the day, really tired and just wanting a shower, until she got back.
