This is our smallest and cheapest room. This room is only for 1 person as it has only a twin bed. If you are OK to share a twin or sleep on the floor you may add a second person for $10 more a night. Two is the maximum. If you want a bigger room, including a room for up to 4 people, please see our other listings which are on the same property!

If you have stayed in a hostel before, you probably already know what to expect. You have one of four rooms. We will provide you with clean bedding and toilet paper on the first day, but after that you do your own laundry (washer and dry on site). Your toiletries (shampoo, soap, etc...) are provided by you. Sure, if you need something or lost something, we will help you out, just ask. But in general you bring your own stuff. (There are a number of markets a short walk from the room.)
The common areas (kitchen and bathrooms) are cleaned weekly, but you are expected to clean up after yourself, and to do so immediately after using the area. If any common area is messy, contact me immediately and we will take care of it, no problem. (I live next door.) We do not always check the common areas everyday, so please, if something is not right, let me know. I want to know. I will take care of it :)
You have your own private room; however, the bathrooms and kitchen are shared. There are four private rooms per unit. Thus it is necessary to respect others wishes, which means:
1) No smoking inside. Please smoke outside. There is a back patio and a front porch.
2) No parties.
3) No loud music or such.
If you have a problem with someone leaving the common areas dirty, smoking, loud noise, etc.... let us know immediately, and we will take care of it right away.
We are happy to help and advise, but basically we will leave you alone unless you ask. It is a great room for the price, and you cannot do better for access to public transport.
Adequate in every way. The room was decent, the building was quiet and I had access to everything I needed. The only real drawback was that it's not in the best neighborhood. Hard to beat for the price though, if that doesn't bother you too much.
Good value room in a very conveniently located area - super easy to get around on public transport and walking distance to grocery stores, banks, Staples, cafes, etc. Room is basic but clean and has what you need. Please note, if you are a light sleeper - bring earplugs! As mentioned by other reviewers, there is no soundproofing so you can hear people talking/cooking/walking in the next rooms.
Kelly very kindly accommodated my request to store my luggage before check-in and was very knowledgeable about the area. This is a handy place to stay if you don't have a car.
Really great!! Provided everything I needed for a good experience in LA!! I recommend anyone visiting or staying in LA for a bit of time.
Listing as described - the room was clean, no issues. Wifi, bathroom, access to room and transportation in the area were all great, especially for the price in LA.
Note that LA is huge and to get to the major tourist sites you'll have to take public transport/hire a car no matter where you stay.
I have great time in Los angeles. Everthing was fine. The room it's not the best one, but for this prize it's ok. And location is just perfect, especially if you don't have any car. I would strongly recommend this room to anyone ;)
Efficient, as described and well located. Info provided on Ryan's Airbnb description was very helpful. Very well located near the metro too.
Nothing at all fancy. Checking in was easy. The location was good. The price was good too. Shower was nice and hot. I'd recommend it if you're looking for an inexpensive place to crash out in. It's like a hostel.
