Gerard and I are a very energetic retired couple who are enjoying having more time to spend in and around our house, built around 1900, in its ever developing garden and sharing it with our many wonderful airbnb guests. I am originally from England and Gerard from Quebec. I am a retired Pediatric RN and Gerard is a semi-retired house painter and designer/renovator with an interest in Art History and English Literature. We have lived in Victoria for over 30 years and are always finding new places to explore and enjoy here.
We love to travel and explore new places with interesting architecture, different cuisines and cultures.
We used Airbnb last year to find our accommodations in New Zealand and Australia and the year before for a winter trip to the Yucatan, with great success. Our favorite destinations is Europe are Venice, London and the South of France and Spain.
We are keen gardeners, readers, theater goers, music lovers and enjoy great food.
We look forward to meeting you and hosting for you soon.
