Welcome to our cozy and creative Brooklyn bungalow in Fort Greene where real neighborhood flavor still lives. Housed in a 1910 home with character and grit, this space is perfect for travelers looking to experience the artsy, soulful, and unpolished side of New York.
You’ll be steps from Fort Greene Park, local cafés, vintage shops, and subway lines. Expect some classic city sounds—we’re close to an elevated expressway and on a busier block—but also expect warmth, privacy, and a space with heart

The space
Your private second-floor suite includes a bedroom and bathroom. The suite faces the backyard, where city noise is softened and you’ll often hear birds chirping throughout the day. We’ve styled the space with local art, natural textures, and everyday comforts to create a peaceful, lived-in vibe.

While the home has its quirks—think creaky floors, narrow stairs, and ongoing repairs—it’s full of personality. This is a legal short-term rental in NYC (OSE-STRREG-0001640), and you’re staying in a home with real roots.

Guest access
Guests have private access to their suite and shared kitchenette with small appliances per city requirements, but you’ll have full independence throughout your stay. Check-in is self-guided via lockbox.

During your stay
I live on the property with my husband and kids—with our own entrances. I’m nearby if you need anything, but otherwise you’ll have space to do your thing. I respect privacy and appreciate guests who do too.

Other things to note
This isn’t a luxury stay—it’s a real NYC home on a block with edge. We’re close to an expressway, so you’ll hear the hustle: cars, sirens, city sounds. But the suite is tucked toward the back of the house, where you’ll also hear birds chirping throughout the day. The house is safe, the neighbors are solid, and the vibe is lived-in, rooted, and real.

We’re currently doing renovations, so you may see tools or materials near the entry. If you’re cool with a bit of Brooklyn grit in exchange for culture, warmth, and character—you’ll feel right at home here.
