Interaction with Guests
I divide my time between Edinburgh and Marrakesh and when I am at the riad, I enjoy sharing my experiences of Marrakech as well as being available to give advice & tips to make guests' stay as enjoyable & memorable as possible.
Our riad is situated in a peaceful residential neighbourhood in a quiet derb ( street). Our neighbourhood bakery is nearby as are the markets where local people shop. This all gives guests a wonderful to observe local life a world away from the tourist attractions. However in a few minutes you can also be in Djemma el Fna and the heart of the souks where all the action is!
The Marrakech medina is best explored on foot. For journeys to the New Town & the Marjorelle Gardens it is easy to get a 'petit' taxi on the Main square. Local taxis are plentiful & cheap.
The horse drawn calaches are also a lovely way of seeing the sights.
Other Things to Note
Free wi - fi is available throughout the riad. Electrical appliances work on 2 pin European plugs.
Rooms available from 2pm.
Room checkout 12pm but arrangements can be made for luggage storage.
Please note that we do not allow any additional guests not checked in, illegal drug use or smoking on our premises due to the risk this may cause to our business.

Riad staff was great. It was Ramadan, so we were the only guests in the place. We had a female cook and a male staffer looking after us the whole time all to ourselves. We had the pick of the rooms. The upstairs balcony was accessible, but not very lively (since we were the only ones there). We could imagine the place to be great for interacting with other guests during peak period. The location is good, close to the main square. Actually my gf got sick en route to Morocco from Croatia) and having the place to ourselves and personal attention (they even helped to arrange a home visit by a doctor) really helped her get back on track.
We had a very warm welcome to the Riad where he spent one night. The hotel manager kindly helped us to find a secure parking spot not too far from the Medina. The riad is conveniently located in a quiet street, yet close to Jamaa El-Fna. The breakfast was great. We also very much enjoyed the sunny roof terrasse !
we arrived in an unfinished, impersonal place, with carpenters working inside the pseudo-riad. the room was wide and basic, with ugly fake lamps and souvenirs and most noisy squeaky creaky bed. when back around midnight we thought to enjoy the fresh air on the terrace, relaxing on the nice couch smoking a Shisha, flavoured apple. but we left quiete soon cause the noise of the air conditioning devise was so annoying just on our heads. -BREAKFAST was a total disaster: -1 cup of tea or coffee only. -50 cents for more hot water...hehehe!! -a fake Fanta pretending to be orange juice (Marrakesh is the city of oranges!) -4 pieces of stinking fried bread -2 local greasy pastilla -bread butter and jam from the discount while I was trying to buy at least some more tea, Linda came to have her breakfast just next to us and while eating a large tray of fresh peeled fruits and pouring from a big tea pot, started to tell us that they found our shisha on the terrace and that smoking is illegal. In fact we left the shisha there without any problem because there was nothing to hide. Shisha is a water pipe that burns fruit flavoured tobacco. it's pretty popular especially in North Africa and totally legal. we couldn't annoy anyone because the terrace was desert when smoking. Linda was accusing us and without any prove, probably because she ignores what shisha is and associates with hashish. I understand that Linda can be afraid, I can't understand her manners. she didnìt want to listen, treating us as liars and offending,as she did in what she wrote here. you'd ask sorry for that, cause it's defamation.
Th Riad LINDA is a perfect place to discover Marrakech. Really well located in the heart of the medina, only two minutes from Jeammaa place. The Riad is very charming authentical and also very clean. I definetly recommand this place.
Riad Linda was in a fantastic central location, the family working there was really sweet and ready to help us, but they especially served us hearty breakfast in the morning.
Rooms were clean, quiet and cosy.
I'd definitely recommend to stay in this Riad, we had a great time!
We were very happy with Linda's Riad. Her Manager, Rashid was extremely helpful and so was Wadeer. The breakfast was excellent and Rashid found us a very sweet driver to take us to Fes for a reasonable cost. Thanks Linda!

About the Host, Linda
Hi, I'm Linda & I live between Edinburgh in Scotland & Marrakech, Morocco. My husband & I found our gorgeous Marrakesh house in 2008 & spent a lot of time restoring this lovely old building using traditional materials and local craftsmen. We love Marrakech for the sunshine and the warmth and charm of its people. We now host out individual rooms in Riad Linda as well as welcoming groups of up to 14 people. Marrakesh is an exotic & fascinating city & perfect for a very memorable holiday in an unusual destination.
