Francessco has a cute bnb in the heart of Florence, steps away from mercato centrale and several restaurants. Places like duomo are also a short walk away.
He is a very thoughtful host.. He took care of all the essential needs, and also stocked the house with a lot of food stuff and even a good bottle of Chianti wine. He took care of the smallest of things like a first aid kit and whole lot of toiletries. He was easily available on phone when we needed help.
He is a very friendly and helpful person too. He gave us a very spirited and enthusiastic talk about food and restaurants in Florence, from how to spot a good Florentine steak place and how much to pay for it, to local delicacies like the lampredetto. He had several good recommendations too.
The washing machine in the bnb was a life saver in the middle of our holiday.
I'll definitely look no further for a bnb when I return to Florence.
Francesco is a very nice guy, friendly, cheerful and helpful (gave us tips on the best places to eat in Florence). There was an issue with checking in 2 hours later than the scheduled time but Francesco was upfront and honest about it, and tried hard to make everyone happy. The listing was accurate, the level 2 apartment is tastefully decorated, modern and functional. It seemed like the next door apartment had smokers so there was a constant strong smoke smell as we entered and exited the front door at Francesco’s apartment. The neighbourhood seemed safe. Location is convenient, 2 mins walk to a supermarket, 10-15 mins walk to the L'accademia, Duomo, and Station. It was a good base to explore Florence. Thank you Francesco.
Francesco is a warm, welcoming and extremely helpful host. He is a tremendous source of information about the city. All our communications have been easy, speedy and professional. The apartment is wonderful, spacious (easily accommodates four), extremely well-equipped, comfortable and bright. It is in the perfect location - easy walking distance to everything, but on a quiet street and in a quiet building. And 5 minutes to a gem - the Mercato Centrale, the go-to place for all your fresh food - bread, meat, cheese, wine, pasta, vegetables, fruit, etc - wonderful! And if you have any questions, Francesco is quick to respond. A charming and gracious host.
We stayed almost a week and we were very happy with our choice. Price/Quality is hard to beat. We are not surprised that it is now booked up almost for the next 4 months. The description of an apartment and its location is very accurate. If what you read about this apartment is what you need then don't wait, book it. The last point is the host himself. We would give him five stars. He spent almost two hours with us when we arrived because we had so many questions. He gave us a lot valuable information and later was very quick to respond to our e-mails. Enjoy your stay in Florence in Francesco's apartment as we did.
Francesco is GREAT, and his aprtment is awesome! he did so much for us and we loved staying in his apartment. the apartment is maintained and organized at the highest level!
1. No windows screens, so 2 nights we suffered mosquitoes
2. Below the flat is exactly the place where its garbage collections. So in the morning we woke up to the sound of the garbage truck. It was not long, but it was not that nice.
Other than that we had a lot of fun really.
There is everything in the apartment! Francesco made sure to have surprises like- wine, milk and Nutella in the fridge :). And you can count on Francesco with everything. He will do anything so your stay will be excellent.
Thank you Francesco!
This is our first trip in Florence and it is a wonderful experience! We spent 3 nignts in this apartment. Francesco is very nice and gave us a lot of good advices. Thank you very much! Highly recommended！
This was our first Air BnB experience and it couldn't have been better. Francesco greeted us warmly with a nice bottle of wine. He took the time to review some of the best restaurants in the neighborhood and some tricks to staying in Florence. His place was fantastic and it didn't take long before my wife and I and our 6 month old son felt at home. The location was fantastic, just minutes from the train station and some of the most beautiful sites in the city (not to mention some great restaurant locations). His place is described as small but it was the biggest place we stayed in during our 2 week trip. Francesco was very patient with us answering any questions we had and took the time to show us everything in his apartment, from how the dishwasher works to how to lock the from door. He also made special accommodations for our son giving us a crib and sheets for both a boy and a girl as we didn't previously specify. We would highly recommend this apartment and was one of the highlights of our stay in Florence.
