Bed & Breakfast - Private room · Via Flavio Stilicone, Rome, Lazio 00175, Italy

The Space

The apartment is located in the Cinecittà area, next to the famous movie’s studios. The apartment has been recently renovated, has new furnitures. It is cozy and clean. Very quiet during the night.

Is just 100 meters away from the metro stop Lucio Sestio. From my apartment you can reach downtown and all the most interesting places within 15 minutes. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There a lot of typical cheap restaurants and shops, grocery stores, internet point. At the back of the building there is the shopping street and a huge lovely park with acquedubct ruins.

The room you are looking at has a double bed (or twin if you prefer). A third bed can be added by (website hidden) has balcony and outside private bathroom. It’s very spacious and there is a nice light during the day. In the house there are two other double rooms.

Price includes breakfast, linen, towels, daily cleaning room service, wi fi connection. I’m at the apartment every morning to prepare breakfast and give you tips for you itineraries or whatever questions you have.

In the whole apartment use of the kitchen and smoking are not allowed. You can buy fresh food and store in the fridge and eat your own food in the common area.

  • A great stay at Sara's. The room was very clean and very close to the Metro station. Sara is also lovely and was very helpful and communicative with directions etc.

  • Cute + Clean + Compact. Did I mention convenient?

Unless you can afford $250+/night for a fancy hotel in the historical center, stay here instead. I guarantee that it will be cleaner and less hassle than any affordable hotel you will find in Rome. Don't be deterred by it's distance from city center. It's a safe neighborhood and easy to get to because it's around the corner from one of the two metro lines in the city (so no pesky outdoor train/bus transfers- Rome does a really bad job of showing which public transportation lines run where aside from the metro).

Easy trip to Ciampino Airport (go three metro stops and take a very clearly marked bus - lane 1- that runs about once an hour from right outside the metro station).

Sara is sweet and very responsive to emails. You'll love her BNB! :)

  • Sara was there on time to allow us into the place. The accommodations are exactly as shown in her pictures. The place is very nice and very clean. I only met Sara briefly when she was there to check us in. But she was helpful in answering our typical questions about how to get around, the hours of operation of the Metro etc. Her son served us breakfast and he was also very pleasant to chat with. Overall the stay was great and I'd recommend Sara to anyone!

  • Amazing stay at Sara's! She made us feel right at home, and is incredibly nice and helpful. Her son is really cool too! Great place to stay, my friends and I absolutely loved it.

  • Staying at Sara's place in Rome was one of the highlights of my trip. Both her and her son were so nice and helpful. And I felt like I was staying in a hotel, with the lovely flat provided, with fabulous air conditioning, and everything about the flat was basically perfect. Very modern and new. The fact that it is a little bit of a subway ride to get into downtown Rome (felt like about 15-20 minutes) is more than made up for by how close the Metro station is to her flat (like 1-2 minute walk). There's also a supermarket just within like a half block of the apartment, so you can stop and get food pretty cheap if you want. I would love to stay at this place again if I am visiting Rome!!! Five stars!

  • besides a few kinks here and there outside of saras control we had a wonderful stay and Sara was a wonderful host. she is a very kind and warm lady and chatting with her during breakfast was great. she was also very helpful. my mate especially loved the decor and the space felt very homey. my friend had a few issues with the shower being hot and cold (but I didn't) and a bit of a strange smell in the bathroom, nothing burning my incense didn't cure.

  • Sara's apartment was the perfect place to stay to enjoy Rome.
Just only a few minuts to metro station and around 15min. to the center.
Close apartment was a few nice tratorias and gelaterias and all the street with boutiques.
The apartment was nice and modern equipment just exacly like on the photos. A room was bigger then we expected and very clean.
Sara is a very nice person and I recommend to stay in her house.
