The host was amazing, helped with dinner plans and made us feel very welcome. The location is perfect, right in the middle of it all. The flat is clean, chic and well appointed with everything you might need. Highly recommend staying here!
We had a great time in this beautiful flat. We found it exactly as described by Tara in the ad. The appartment is very spacious, bright and sunny and we felt very comfortable from the very first moment.
From the large balcony there is a stunning view on the sky line of the city. The large kitchen with a table for 10 persons invtes you to a cooking experience with the fresh food from nearby borrow market.
The flat lies in a nice area with lots of little shops, cafés and restaurants. Beeing very close to london bridge, it is fast and easy to reach all interesting places of the city.
The size of the two two-person beds could be a little larger. Also the mattress of one of the two beds could have been a litle bit harder from our poin of view. Sometimes, during the night, the "machinery" in one of the two bathrooms makes a little noise.
Tara's colleague Wendy met with us in the appartement and showed us everything we needed to know. Wendy was very friendly and had a good sense of humor.
Communication with Tara and Wendy went very well and was easy, also for the finetuning up-front before our journey. Check-out was as simple as possible. We just had to leave the keys on the table. We can only recommend this flat!
This apartment and its location are even better than described. It is spacious, has comfortable beds and furniture, a wonderful view out the windows and a large balcony. Tara was very responsive and upon booking gave us information that helped us to plan our trip.
We were met by her husband Johnny, who gave us good directions about the apt, set us up on the internet, and gave us great information about the area and the wonderful restaurants along the street. They also provided us with basic food supplies and a bottle of Prosecco which was very welcomed.
Bermondsey Street is lined by wonderful restaurants and we ate at one every evening. It was so nice to just walk downstairs to eat diner after a long day of touring. We did have to make reservations for each night the first day we arrived.
It's a great location from which to walk, close to Borough market and Tower bridge.
Thank you Tara for your warm welcome despite the cold weather. The apartment comfortably fits 4 instead of 5 as the extra bed is an air bed. But overall the apartment is cosy and everything is well equipped. From the apartment is a 10mins walk to London bridge station and borough market is just nearby. Many nice restaurant around the neighborhood.
I had a lovely time at Bermondsey Street. The flat is exactly as it is promoted (the pictures and description are entirely accurate) and Tara made me feel very welcome - including doing some shopping and providing fruit and some breakfast cereals at the start of the stay. The Bermondsey neighbourhood seems very trendy with lots of restaurants and bars and things to do - but we didn't get a chance to try many of them out during our short stay. The flat is fantastically well situated just south of Tower Bridge (walking distance) and close to transport - no problems getting anywhere you need to go. All in all, a wonderful spot.
The flat is in a great location and has many wonderful restaurants and cute shops on the street. It is just as it looks in the pictures, is clean, modern, and was a relaxing place for us to come back to after a long day of sightseeing. Tara was extremely helpful providing information before we arrived and greeting us and showing us around the flat when we got there. She was a kind and gracious host. We would definitely stay there again.
We loved Tara's place! Beautiful, quiet, warm (we visited in Winter) and in the middle of one of the hippest streets in London. Tara and Johnny were exceptionally communicative hosts throughout, and left us some champagne in the fridge! We'll be back :)

I really love living and working in London. Sampling all the delicious foods in the many restaurants, visiting one of the many markets, galleries, parks or plays. Strolling up my road - Bermondsey Street, stopping off at the bustling Antiques Fair and Borough Market. As you can see I like good food, good company in a great spaces. I am adventurous, with a good sense of humour; someone who believes you shouldn't take life too seriously and live it to the ful!
