Interaction with Guests
Sometimes I will be present, in my separate apartment on the second floor of the house, and sometimes I am away. I always give my contact info to guests so they can reach me if they need something. A lockbox is used if I can not be there when the guest checks in, or sometimes just to provide flexible check-in so a guest can arrive when they please.

I didn't get to meet Michelle but she was always immediately available when I emailed. Her instructions for the house were very clear and easy to understand. The house is close to Lake Ontario Park, which was nice to walk around. The house pretty much had everything we needed. Unfortunately, the bed was too soft for my bad back but had adequate covers/pillows. The only negative thing was the shower...water just dribbled from the shower head and so that was disappointing but an easy fix I would think. Thanks for allowing us to use your home Michelle!
I really enjoyed the couple of nights at Michelle's little apt - all the comforts of a home. Basic but everything you need to cook, sleep, get clean and relax. One of the best washer and dryer combos I've ever used! A really quiet
Neighbourhood, almost no noise outside - very peaceful. I'd happily stay again - could imagine living there for a month! I was a bit rushed leaving but really, I wouldn't have minded spending a month there ;-)
Michelle was a fantastic host! Unfortunately we never got to meet in person but she was accommodating and always available if we needed anything. The place was cozy and perfect for a get-away to Kingston. Thanks Michelle!
Made very welcome . Many items in the Refrigerator with invitation to use.
The apartment was simple, comfortable and clean. The neighborhood is quiet and near bus routes into Kingston. Portsmouth Harbour is close by as is Ontario Park and the Lake, both a short distance (5-10 minutes walk.
The new Queen's Music Centre is near.
We were very satisfied with our stay.
I stayed at Michelle's home for a weekend. It's a cute, cozy spot 8 minutes away from downtown. Michelle is a great host, warm and welcoming and quick to respond. Her place is just as advertised. I would recommend it to anyone and definitely stay there again.
I drove up there from Boston, so getting around Kingston was quite easy. If you are there and don't have a car you can cab it to nearby places for cheap.
Staying with Michelle was a great experience. The house is very cozy and clean and in a quiet neighbourhood. Michelle was a great host and I can only recommend staying with her if you're ever in Kingston and looking for accommodation!
Le logement était très bien décrit. Michelle était à l'extérieur de Kingston mais elle répondait très rapidement aux tel. et aux emails.
I am a post-doctoral fellow. I study the effects of the environment on children and how exposure to chemicals and air pollution may promote allergies.
I like biking, hiking, and scuba diving. I love to travel and spend time with my family.
For sites to see in Kingston I would recommend the sunset ceremony at Fort Henry and the Haunted Walk of Kingston. Cruises around the Thousand Islands are also nice. Kingston has many nice restaurants and historic buildings downtown. My favorite being all the old carriage-ways.
