Interaction with Guests
Sometimes I will be present, in my separate apartment on the second floor of the house, and sometimes I am away. I always give my contact info to guests so they can reach me if they need something. A lockbox is used if I can not be there when the guest checks in, or sometimes just to provide flexible check-in so a guest can arrive when they please.

Very close to Queen's West Campus (faculty of education). 20 minute walk or 10 minute bus/bike to Queen's University Main campus, downtown, Kingston General Hospital. Fort Henry about 20 mins by car or bus.
Bus stop less than 100 meters from door and 3 different bus routes that take you straight downtown. Megabus and Via Rail can take you to Kingston and are then transit-accessible. Free parking for your car.

Le logement était très bien décrit. Michelle était à l'extérieur de Kingston mais elle répondait très rapidement aux tel. et aux emails.
Michelle made sure that we had everything we needed! The place was warm, comfortable, and clean with a well stocked kitchen. Thanks for being flexible!
Michelle was a great host with fast and thorough communication. The place was comfortable, clean, and warm. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom, with food and hot drinks which were a nice treat! Would recommend.
Michelle was in touch often before our arrival providing all of the information we needed to get to the house and inside easily. She was very accommodating for our kids (willing to provide a toddler bed and pack n' play for the baby). Because of the reason for our visit (tournament) and the cold weather, we didn't walk around the area, but it's close to grocery stores and main roads.
We stayed only one night and it was comfortable. There wasn't much opportunity to get to know Michelle, but she was helpful in our short interactions with her. She even graciously mailed us a pair of gloves we had left there by accident!
Because there is a connected unit, sounds were easily transmitted to one of the bedrooms. Despite that, it didn't go on too late into the night.
Michelle was flexible with our check-in and check-out times, and we particularly appreciated the supply of tea/coffee/lemon juice/honey in the kitchen!
I stayed with Michelle while in town for an interview at Kingston General Hospital. Michelle was a very welcoming and friendly host. The food in the kitchen, as well as the teas and coffee, were a lovely surprise. Her place was as described, and was clean, warm, and comfortable. I had the entire main floor flat to myself, so I found it very spacious. The house is also conveniently situated on bus routes that run downtown (a gazillion restaurants). I would highly recommend Michelle's place if you're in Kingston.
Perfect location and wonderful place. Michelle was extremely accommodating and check-in was a snap! Had everything we could have needed for our stay. Great location. We will definitely stay here the next time that we are in Kingston.
I am a post-doctoral fellow at Queen's University in Canada. I study the effects of the environment on human development and how exposure to chemicals and air pollution may promote allergies.
I like biking, hiking, and scuba diving. I love to travel and spend time with my family.
For sites to see in Kingston I would recommend the sunset ceremony at Fort Henry and the Haunted Walk of Kingston. Cruises around the Thousand Islands are also nice. Kingston has many nice restaurants and historic buildings downtown. My favorite being all the old carriage-ways.
