Interaction with Guests
Sometimes I will be present, in my separate apartment on the second floor of the house, and sometimes I am away. I always give my contact info to guests so they can reach me if they need something. A lockbox is used if I can not be there when the guest checks in, or sometimes just to provide flexible check-in so a guest can arrive when they please.

Didn't get to meet Michelle in person, but she made sure everything was ready for our stay. She sent a detailed email about check-in process well in advance, and he responded quickly to my emails. The place was nice, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. It was especially nice that there were a washer and a dryer, and she let us use anything in the kitchen :)
Michelle made us feel welcome by maintaining contact throughout our stay even though she was out of town. Items left in the pantry and in the fridge were available for us to use. The lovely, clean home is exactly as described and instructions were very clear in all matters, from entry to departure. The ceiling fans kept the bedrooms and living room cool--we did not need the A/C. The location was very close to Queen's university and the downtown area of Kingston. The neighbourhood is safe and the city of Kingston is delightful. I would highly recommend this Airbnb for two or three travellers and look forward to returning one day!
Très bon accueil, le quartier est sympa, maison correspondant à sa description
Clean, well appointed flat on the ground floor of a house on the outskirts of Kingston. Very well placed for the old town, just a few minutes' drive to the centre. Michelle was a great host and very communicative. We had a great time.
Maison charmante malgré qu'un des lits soit trop petit pour 2 personnes.
Amazing house! Everything clean and organized. Michelle was very kind and easy to deal with. There were even some non perishable food that we could use. I would absolutely recommend her house. Plus Kingston is amazing.
Michelle's place was just as advertised and I had a very nice stay for three days here. I would gladly stay here again on my next trip. There were many thoughtful touches around the house and it was very well supplied with spices and anything you would need to prepare a home cooked meal. I did not get to meet Michelle since she was out of town but she was extremely helpful to me after I locked my self out of the house on a Satuday morning. She was right on the ball and helped me get back in.
About the Host, Michelle
I am a post-doctoral fellow. I study the effects of the environment on children and how exposure to chemicals and air pollution may promote allergies.
I like biking, hiking, and scuba diving. I love to travel and spend time with my family.
For sites to see in Kingston I would recommend the sunset ceremony at Fort Henry and the Haunted Walk of Kingston. Cruises around the Thousand Islands are also nice. Kingston has many nice restaurants and historic buildings downtown. My favorite being all the old carriage-ways.
