  • We stayed for 10 days . The apartment was comfortable, clean and had all the basic necessities. It was very convenient for us as we were visiting family near- by. Having parking was a great bonus particularly because street parking is almost impossible in winter.
The neighborhood was quiet and close to the bus routes. Portsmouth Harbour is just a short walk away, as is some very good walking along the lake in parkland.
We had a very comfortable stay and will certainly return.
Michelle is a charming last and very helpful and considerate.

  • The photos do not do this place justice. It is a well appointed little apartment that has everything you need for a multi day stay. Our host was generous enough to leave some baby toys, a highchair and a playpen- all of which our 18 month old enjoyed immensely, as did our nieces and nephews who dropped in for a visit. Very comfortable, and we couldn't be thankful enough for the stocked kitchen when we arrived late and didn't want to deal with delivery! Clean, warm, ample parking and the laundry availability made it possible for us to head home with suitcases full of clean clothes!

  • My friend and I stayed for 2 nights at Michelle's. Everything was nicely organized and fully equipted. Electric hair dryer was missing but I think this is due to safely purpose. I highly recommend Michelle's place for 2 adults for long relaxed stay in Kingston.

  • After one night in a small motel room, I decided to try Airbnb for the first time. Within a few hours of contacting Michelle (at a rather early hour - we needed an alternative!) we had exchanged several emails and made arrangements to move to her lovely small home in Kingston. The directions were very clear, the home was as pictured and described, and we were very happy to have two separate rooms, a kitchen to cook in, and a comfortable living room, for about what we would have spent on that motel room. We enjoyed a pleasant, if brisk, walk down to the lake across the hospital grounds.

As a bonus, there was food in the cupboard and fridge, which allowed us to stay in and make a light meal, rather than the usual over eating and over spending that comes with dining on the road.

Throughout, Michelle was in constant and quick contact. She was friendly and helpful and available - what more could you ask for?

Our first experience of airbnb was a resounding success. We are looking forward to the next opportunity to use it!

    Thank you, Michelle!

  • We had a great time at Michelle's home. It was very comfotable and everything was really clean and tidy. So we felt really at home after a few hours. Her place had everything we were looking for: a lot of kitchen stuff for cooking, a comfotable bed, a nice couch with a big tv and also a washing machine. :) From the apartement it's not far to downtown kingston.
    Thank's again for everything.

  • Michelle 's place is perfect. We enjoyed our staying there. Everything was clean and she was very helpful. We would definitely choose her place again to stay in Kingston.
It was a great experience. She left a decent supply of food, bread, milk, etc for the next morning. All communications with Michelle were quick and complete.

  • Michelle's place was exactly as advertised. Quiet location, comfortable main floor, and so close to the waterfront. Just a great flat!

  • Michelle's place was fantastic! When I first walked in with my girlfriend, everything was nicely organized, and it was nice having the whole house to ourselves!
I have to admit, it felt like being in a hotel, but without the hotel price. The washroom had small soaps and shampoo laid out just like any hotel would. And clean, folded towels were professionally placed in the bed rooms.
Last note, we even made a pancake breakfast at Michelle's place in the morning as everything is supplied.
It was a great experience. Thank you Michelle.

  • I enjoyed my stay at Michelle's apartment while working in Kingston even while I fought off a sinus cold / sore tooth. The kitchen was well stocked in terms of supplies and having laundry on site was a plus. I would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises.

  • Comfortable, convenient, compact apartment attached to the main house. Crying kids were heard, but not a huge issue. Parking available on the driveway. Good, helpful, appropriate communication with Michelle, who left a decent supply of food, bread, milk, etc for the next morning. If one is a big TV/sports watcher, be aware there is no cable or satellite TV to watch, only DVDs.

I am a post-doctoral fellow at Queen's University in Canada. I study the effects of the environment on human development and how exposure to chemicals and air pollution may promote allergies. I like biking, hiking, and scuba diving. I love to travel and spend time with my family. For sites to see in Kingston I would recommend the sunset ceremony at Fort Henry and the Haunted Walk of Kingston. Cruises around the Thousand Islands are also nice. Kingston has many nice restaurants and historic buildings downtown. My favorite being all the old carriage-ways.
