The charming cottage is furnished with a king-size bed and has an en-suite shower. The open-plan unit has a comfortable couch and a kitchen with a gas stove, an Aga stove, and a dining table. The cottage opens onto the patio and an outdoor braai area.

The space
This beautiful little gem, is a heritage cottage. It is surrounded by Olive trees, Cabernet Franc vines as well as Willows and Oak trees. During Winter time a rivulet runs close by the cottage. A lovely old Dover stove will keep you warm during the winter months.
From the cottage you have lovely views onto the mountains. Bird lovers will have a ball of a time.
It is an easy walking distance to town, especially the wine tram, shops and restaurants.

It is a self check in and you will have free and secure parking next to the cottage.

During your stay
As the host I respect my guests privacy, therefore I will not disturb them, but I am always ready to assist them.

Where you’ll be

Franschhoek, Western Cape, South Africa

Surrounded by other farms. Some wine and some fruit farms. Close to the Farm Sanctuary where the famous Pigcasso, the pig that paints, can be found. The donkeys will bring some laughter into your day.
Then it is nice to take an early run to the monument and back, about a 4km exercise. A lovely way to start a day.
